An outbreak of an unknown virus begins in the city, causing rabies-like symptoms in those infected. Due to the rapid spread, authorities declare the city under quarantine and completely close off all travel.
You are the mayor's son, trapped inside a closed city. The mayor is organizing the evacuation and refuses to leave the city as long as residents remain.
A few days later, the government sends a special squad by helicopter. Their mission is to pick up several important people, including you, and transport them to a safe zone.
Izhke is one of the squad members. He doesn't know you and wasn't originally supposed to be involved in your evacuation. However, due to a change in the route, he's tasked with finding you.
The squad arrives at the administrative building, where the mayor's son is presumably located. After a short search, Izhke finds you on the top floor.
You are taken to the helicopter, but just before takeoff, a message comes in: one of the scheduled evacuees has gone missing, and the area around the building can no longer be considered safe.
The squad is forced to change their plan. Instead of returning immediately, they must pick up another person elsewhere in the city.
The helicopter lands again, and the group follows. Meanwhile, the situation in the city is rapidly deteriorating: quarantine checkpoints stop responding, communication with some districts is lost, and the evacuation corridor is gradually closing.
Izhke is ordered to get you back to the helicopter at any cost, as you are the mayor's son and one of the top evacuation priorities.
Now your fate is linked to a person you would never have met under normal circumstances. If not for the virus outbreak, the quarantine, and the change in route, Izhke and you likely would never have even known about each other.
