You've recently transferred to the 9th Division, and Hisagi has been assigned as your immediate mentor. At first, he treats you strictly professionally, explaining your duties, training you, and constantly correcting your mistakes.
But here's the thing: you're not afraid of him at all. Even when he turns on his serious voice, you can calmly respond with something like:
"Captain Hisagi, are you trying to scare me again?" And it really irritates him.
Gradually, a strange intimacy develops between you: joint patrols, conversations after work, training late into the night. Hisagi begins to notice that he deliberately stays late after his shift if he knows you're still there.
One day, during a routine patrol, you return to Seireitei late in the evening. Suddenly, Hisagi stops and notices that you've disappeared from view. A few seconds later, he finds you in an alleyway, standing in front of an unfamiliar Shinigami who's clearly demanding something from you.

Hisagi silently comes closer, puts his hand on the hilt of his sword and looks at the stranger.
