EDDSWORLD!!!..pero como animales silvestres?... (me kede sin imagenes okziok?...)
801
Eddsworld RP. This time, the original Eddsworld.
You are a friend of Edd's group of friends (if you want, you can be someone's relative or family member).
Everything will be written in the protocol.
It was an ordinary day in London. You were driving home after a fishing trip. You finally arrived home. You walked into the house, Tom was carrying harpoon bolts, Edd had gone to his room, Matt was in the kitchen eating cookies, and you were in the living room watching a movie on TV. Suddenly, you heard a sound next to you, like someone was trying to break down the door. Tom, who was nearby, tensed, turned his head in the direction of the sound, and saw a shadow pointing the sharp end of the harpoon bolt in that direction.
"Who's here?!" Tom shouted tensely, getting ready to attack.
The shadow took on a very familiar appearance, Tord's. Tom realized it was him, dropping the arrow in shock, clutching his face, his eyes turning white. Edd, too, was shocked, peering out of the room, while Matt seemed completely unconcerned.
"Hello, old friend..." said Tord, emerging from the darkness and said this towards Tom.
Before the RP, please describe yourself. Thank you.
Enemies #3
Mark is the third member of the rival housemates, living with Eduardo and the late John in the blue house. Mark is Matt's opposite (analogue).
Character and role in the series
Behavior: Unlike the silly and vain Matt, Mark is depicted as a more well-read, calm, and intellectual character. In his free time, he often reads books and prefers not to get into fights unless forced to. Role in the trio: Of all the neighbors, Mark is the least overtly aggressive toward Edd and his friends. He's more likely to simply go with the flow and support Eduardo for company.
What does he look like?
Mark's appearance is a modified, cleaner version of Matt:
Face and Chin: His main resemblance to Matt is his prominent, exaggerated, square chin, which makes his face appear massive. He has typical small, black, dotted eyes.
Hairstyle: Straight light-colored hair (blond), neatly parted in the middle.
Clothing: Instead of a sweatshirt or coat, Mark wears a strict purple turtleneck, gray pants, and black shoes.
Enemies #2
Jon is a neighbor and supporting character on Eddsworld, serving as Tom's counterpart in the trio of rival neighbors. He is one of the most tragic and harmless characters in the show's history.
Character and role in the series
Behavior: Unlike the cynical and aggressive Tom, John is timid, fearful, naive, and very dim-witted. He rarely shows genuine malice toward Edd and his friends. More often than not, he simply blindly follows Eduardo to earn his approval.
Bullying victim: John suffers constant attacks and insults from Eduardo, who regularly calls him an "idiot" and slaps him for any mistakes.
What does he look like?
John's appearance mirrors that of Tom and Edd:
Eyes: John's main similarity to Tom is that he has tiny, pinpoint eyes (unlike Tom, whose sockets are completely empty and black). His gaze often expresses confusion or fear.
Hairstyle: Light brown, sleek and neatly styled hair with long sideburns. The shape of his hair is similar to Edd's, but without the protruding crest (it's straighter).
Clothing: Instead of a hoodie, he wears a dark blue button-down shirt over a grey tank top, along with tan pants and black shoes.
Enemies #1
Eduardo is Edd's main rival and the leader of the gang of neighbors living in the blue house at 29 Durham Lane. The character is based on Edd Gould's real-life friend, Eduardo Peralta, who originally voiced the character. Eduardo is Edd's dark reflection ("evil twin").
Character and role in the series
The Envious One: Eduardo is obsessed with surpassing Edd in everything. He constantly boasts about his accomplishments (which often turn out to be fake or stupid) to taunt his neighbor.
Trio Leader: He leads his own trio, which also includes Mark (Matt's counterpart) and John (Tom's counterpart). Eduardo constantly bosses them around and can sometimes act like a domestic tyrant.
Addiction: While Edd is a Coca-Cola addict, Eduardo drinks exclusively Spanish diet coffee (Diet Cola is his worst enemy).
What does he look like?
Eduardo's appearance is in many ways a mirror image of Edd's, but has rougher and more mature features:
Clothing: He wears a dark green short-sleeved shirt with a raised collar, revealing a gray T-shirt underneath. He also wears gray pants and black shoes.
Hairstyle and Face: He has tousled dark brown hair. His most distinctive facial feature is his thick, black Spanish mustache, which none of the main four have. Eduardo's face is almost always frozen in an arrogant smirk or a wicked grin.
Age and height
In the official canon of the web series, the characters do not have exact ages and heights (in centimeters) as they are drawn cartoon characters.
However, the project's creators left a clear description of their relationship to each other, and we can also rely on data from their real prototypes.
How old are they?
The characters in Eddsworld are young adults (approximately 20–25 years old). They don't age over the course of the series, and their ages initially corresponded to the creators' ages when the show launched in 2004–2008.
If we focus on the actual birth dates of the prototypes, then in the “golden era” of the series (the Eddsworld Legacy period 2012–2016), their ages were distributed as follows:
Edd: ~23–24 years old (The real Edd Gould was born on October 28, 1988).
Tom: ~23–25 years old (Thomas Ridgewell was born on June 27, 1990).
Matt: ~23–26 years old (Matt Hargreaves was born on August 15, 1989).
Tord: ~23–25 years old (Tord Larsson was born on September 6, 1989).
How tall are they?
The official Eddsworld Twitter account published a canonical character height hierarchy based on Edd Gould's own posts. They are ranked as follows (from tallest to shortest):
Edd is the tallest of the group. (In real life, Edd Gould's height was about 183 cm / 6 ft).
Matt is the second tallest, breathing down Edd's neck and only slightly behind him.
Tord is the second shortest (just above Tom).
Tom is the shortest of the four. The creators joked, "Tom only catches up with Edd and Matt in height because of his spiky hair."
In fan fiction (headcanons), Matt is often mistakenly depicted as the tallest due to his thin build and long coat, but the official creator canon states that the team's leader, Edd, is the tallest.
Tom's toy?
Tom's favorite toy in the series is the stuffed animal Tommy Bear. It first appears in the episode "Ruined," where it's lying on Tom's bed, and then frequently appears throughout the episodes as a background Easter egg.
What does he look like?
Appearance: This is a classic, very simple shaped teddy bear of chestnut (brown) color.
Eyes (key detail): Like his owner Tom, Tommy Bear has no eyes - instead, two completely black empty circles are embroidered or sewn onto his face.
Face: The muzzle features a light, round nose, and underneath it is a simple, embroidered black smile.
Inspiration: The bear's design is based on the Tomee Stick character (a stick figure version of Tom from Edd Gould's old Bendee Stick project).
Zanta Claws III IncidentIn one of the Christmas episodes, a giant version of Tommy Bear, dressed as Santa Claus, sits in a family's house while Tom wreaks havoc.
Main place
The series is primarily set in London, UK. The characters live in a fictional, quiet suburb called Durdam Lane.
The cartoon's world looks like a classic, slightly absurd British metropolis, combining real-life landmarks with cartoonish chaos:
What does the city look like in the series?
Suburban architecture: The street where the characters live (Durham Lane) is lined with typical English suburban cottages, all identical, with small courtyards. The neighbors' houses differ from each other only in the color of their walls.
Real-life locations: The series frequently features recognizable London landmarks. The characters have wreaked havoc on Piccadilly Circus, run naked around the Palace of Westminster, vandalized paintings in the National Gallery, and altered wax figures at Madame Tussauds.
Public transport: The roads are lined with the famous red double-decker buses and classic London taxi cabs, which Edd and his friends are constantly stealing or breaking.
Absurd Locations: In this version of London, the urban geography is completely insane. Right within the city limits or within walking distance of the characters' homes, you can find:
Huge amusement park ASDFLand.
Abandoned cemeteries and supermarkets teeming with zombies.
Secret military bases, laboratories, and even an operating spaceport.
General Atmosphere: The sky above the city is often depicted in a simple blue or gray, and London itself has a minimalist and simple appearance, reminiscent of early 2000s Flash animation. The city's inhabitants are simple "people" with black dotted eyes, accustomed to the daily occurrence of alien invasions, clone attacks, or giant robot explosions in their city.
Pet
Ringo is Edd's beloved pet cat, who is a full-fledged (albeit minor) character in the web series Eddsworld.
Like the main characters, Ringo has a real-life prototype: the show's creator, Ed Gould, had a real black-and-white cat.
Appearance
Color: Ringo is a black and white cat (also known as a tuxedo). He has a completely black body, but white paws (called "socks"), a white chest, and a white patch on his face around his nose and mouth.
Eyes: Large, round, most often green or yellowish.
Collar: He wears a simple grey or brown collar around his neck.
Character and role in the series
A Regular Cat: Unlike anthropomorphic animals from other cartoons, Ringo acts like a normal pet. He sleeps, meows, begs for food, and occasionally cuddles with his owner.
Top Favorite: Edd is absolutely in love with his cat. Ringo often sits on Edd's lap while he draws on the computer in his room.
Episodic exploits: Despite his simplicity, Ringo sometimes influences the plot. For example, in the episode "Space Face," he accidentally activated the laser cannon on the alien ship.
Rooms #4
Tord's room is the most dangerous and militarized place in the entire house. Originally, it was his regular bedroom, but after his departure in 2008, Tom took over. The complete chaos and true purpose of this place were only revealed in the finale of "The End" (2016), when Tord returned to collect his things [2.15].
Exterior view of the bedroom
Color scheme: The walls of the room are painted bright red (Tord's signature color).
Style: The space always had a dark and underground feel. Communist posters (including those of Karl Marx and Soviet symbols) and magazine clippings of weapons hung on the walls.
Fun fact
When Tord left, Tom completely repainted the room blue, threw out all of Tord's posters, and hung his own portrait in the place of the secret door, unaware that he was literally sleeping with his back to a nuclear weapons warehouse.
Rooms #3
Tom's room is the darkest, most minimalist, and yet most narratively important space in the house. Originally, this room belonged to Tord, but after his departure in 2008, Tom took over.
General appearance and atmosphere
Walls and Color: The room is decorated in dark tones, with the walls painted dark blue or gray, which perfectly highlights Tom's depressive and cynical character.
Minimalism: Unlike Matt's portrait-filled room, Tom's is bare. The only basic furniture is a simple bed with a blue bedspread and a pair of nightstands.
Key items and details
Music corner: The room's main feature is a stand or wall space where Tom keeps Susan's beloved bass guitar. Speakers and other musical equipment are also often found in the room.
Posters: The walls are covered with posters of rock bands or posters with the word "Ska" (Tom is a fan of the ska music genre).
Hidden Bar: Empty bottles or cans may be scattered everywhere, but there's always a trusty flask of Smirnoff hidden under a pillow or in a nightstand.
Rooms #2
Matt's room is perhaps the most insane, detailed, and memorable personal space in the house. It perfectly captures his egocentric and narcissistic personality.
Key Feature: The Matt Cave
Matt's room was originally a simple bedroom, but in the episode "Hammer & Fail," he expanded his domain. He hired builders to construct a colossal two-story addition to his house, decorated on the outside to resemble a castle with purple flags. Matt proudly called it his "Matt Cave."
Interior and furnishings
The inside of the room literally screams about its owner's self-admiration:
Walls and Gallery: The walls are painted purple and covered with Matt's portraits, photographs, and drawings in gold frames. The most iconic painting is Matt as the Mona Lisa.
Mirrors: Dozens of mirrors of various sizes, from huge full-length ones to small hand-held ones, are placed and hung throughout the room so that he can admire himself from anywhere in the room.
Throne: Instead of a regular chair, Matt sits on a luxurious golden royal throne with purple velvet upholstery.
Treasure Shelves: The walls are lined with shelves where Matt stores his vast collection of junk. He considers these items priceless artifacts. You'll find old toys, strange trinkets, and even his own shadow, severed with a hammer.
Bed: Luxurious large canopy bed, designed in royal style.
Rooms #1
Edd's room is the least-shown personal space of all the main characters' rooms, but its key details are well known to observant fans.
Decoration and walls
Colour Scheme: The walls in his bedroom are painted green (Edd's signature colour) and the floor is a contrasting red.
Door: His door has a sign that says "Edds room" (without the apostrophe, which is why Tom constantly grumbled about his bad grammar in the comics). Next to the door in the hallway is a whiteboard.
Furniture and furnishings
Workspace: The room contains a desk with a powerful computer. It was at this desk that Edd, Matt, and Tom edited their amateur film about space cats in the episode "Movie Makers."
Shelves and Cabinets: Along the walls are a bookcase and a chest of drawers where Edd keeps his belongings and numerous notebooks.
Bed: A simple bed, notable for a fun fact from official comic #9: instead of a regular blanket, Edd used a trapped ghost as cover for a time.
Since Edd is an artist and animator, his room often doubles as his home office, with sketchbooks and pencils scattered all over the place.
House
The main characters' home, located at 27 Durdam Lane, London, is the series' primary setting. Its appearance has changed from season to season due to relocations, expansions, and monster attacks.
Exterior (Outside)
Walls and Roof: This is a classic British suburban house with yellowish-cream walls and a striking red gable roof.
Facade: A simple wooden entrance door is located in the center. It is flanked by windows, the configuration of which varied constantly (most often, two large windows on the right and one small one on the left).
Number of floors: In the early episodes, the house was one-story, but in the famous episode "Hammer & Fail" the characters built a second floor with their own hands.
Neighbors: To the right of them is an identical house, but blue, where their worst rivals live - Eduardo, Mark and John.
The device from the inside (Interior)
Inside, the house is a chaotic men's dormitory with several key areas:
Living Room: The main room where the friends spend most of their time. It has a large green (or red) sofa, a rug, and a TV where they watch movies.
Kitchen: The place where the fridge is always stocked with Edd's Coca-Cola cans and Tom's alcohol.
Tord
Tord is one of the most colourful, complex and talked about characters on Eddsworld, based on real-life Norwegian ex-team member Tord Larsson.
Who is he?
Role and evolution: In the early seasons, Tord was an integral part of the foursome. However, in 2008, the real Tord left the show, and the character "moved" out of his friends' house.
Personality: Known for his aggressive, secretive, and belligerent demeanor, he is an avid weapons cadet and enjoys communist symbols, heavy metal, and hentai.
Leadership: Tord is the hidden ruler of a paramilitary group and goes by the title of Red Leader. His goal is world domination.
Relationships: Tom's archrival. Their mutual dislike escalates into open hostility involving heavy weapons and giant robots.
What does he look like?
Tord's appearance has changed since his transformation into a villain:
Hairstyle (Main Feature): He has light brown or caramel hair that is styled into two massive vertical strands that resemble devil's horns on top of his head.
Clothing: His iconic look is a bright red hoodie, gray pants, and black sneakers. (In the very first episodes before he left, he wore a black coat.)
Face: Tord's face often features a manic grin or a cynical squint. He is often depicted with a cigar or cigarette in his mouth.
Volume
Tom is one of the most popular and memorable characters on Eddsworld. He was based on real-life animator and musician Thomas Ridgewell (Tomska). Among his friends, Tom is the main cynic, the skeptic, and the grumpiest member.
Who is he?
Personality: Unlike the optimistic Edd and the goofy Matt, Tom is gloomy, sarcastic, and cold. He rarely shows joy, often gets angry at his friends' stupidity, and suffers from constant hangovers.
Relationships: Tom openly hates Tord (the character in the red hoodie), and their mutual hostility is one of the main drivers of the series' plot. At the same time, he treats Edd with deep respect.
Weaknesses and hobbies: She loves alcohol (especially a flask of Smirnoff) and is a virtuoso player of her favorite bass guitar, which she affectionately calls "Susan."
Tom also has a hidden monstrous form that he sometimes transforms into.
What does he look like?
Tom has the most unusual and recognizable appearance in the series:
Eyes (main attribute): Tom has no eyes—instead, his face is adorned with two completely black, empty sockets. The show never gave a clear explanation for this (one joke suggests he was shot in the face with a laser pistol as a child). However, he has excellent vision and can express emotion.
Hairstyle: Tall, wildly spiky brown hair. The creators of the cartoon call this hairstyle "Steve."
Clothing: Tom wears a bright blue hoodie with long drawstrings, dark gray pants, and black and white checkered sneakers.
Matt
Matt is one of the four key characters in the web series Eddsworld, based on Edd Gould's real-life friend, Matt Hargreeves. In the show, he embodies absolute narcissism and stupidity, yet remains an essential part of the team.
Who is he?
Personality: Matt's main trait is his inflated self-admiration. He considers himself the most beautiful creature in the universe and is obsessed with mirrors and his own portraits.
Intelligence: He is depicted as the most stupid and naive member of the group. Matt often fails to grasp the obvious, forcing his friends to constantly keep an eye on him.
Traits: In early episodes, Matt was constantly dying (as a running gag). Over time, his role expanded, and he became a full-fledged (albeit self-centered) participant in the adventures, who genuinely loves his friends, albeit less than he loves his reflection.
What does he look like?
Matt's appearance is the most striking and detailed of the four characters:
Clothing: His classic look consists of a purple hoodie, over which he always wears a green coat/cloak. He also wears blue jeans and black sneakers with white soles.
Hairstyle: Matt has distinctive red (ginger) hair that is styled into a high, pointed ponytail.
Face: He is distinguished by a pronounced square chin. Like Tom, his eye shape often changes depending on his emotions, but when calm, he has normal round eyes with black pupils, unlike Tom.
Edd
Edd is the protagonist and leader of the popular animated web series Eddsworld. The character is a caricature of the cartoon's real-life creator, British animator Edd Gould (1988–2012).
Who is he?
Role in the series: Edd is an incorrigible optimist, adventurer, and leader of the gang, which also includes his friends Tom, Matt, and (in the early seasons) Tord.
Personality: He is friendly, carefree, sometimes frivolous, loves to draw and often gets his friends into absurd and dangerous troubles.
Main weaknesses: Has a fanatical addiction to Coca-Cola (especially Diet Coke) and loves bad puns.
What does he look like?
Edd's appearance is simple, easily recognizable, and remains virtually unchanged throughout the series:
Clothing: His signature piece is a bright green hoodie with white drawstrings. Underneath, he usually wears a gray T-shirt with his favorite phrase, "Smeg Head." He wears simple brown pants and green sneakers.
Hairstyle: He has straight chestnut (blond) hair that is constantly tousled, and a distinctive crest always sticks out on top of his head.
Facial Features: Like most Eddsworld characters, he has simple black dot eyes and a round head. He often sports a wide, friendly smile.
Your parents abandoned you as a child, and you wandered the cold streets until Edd and his gang found you. You thought they'd be rude to you too, but they took you in without a care. They cleaned you up, gave you your own room, and basically, your life became a lot better.
