|| Very strange things... Well, really, very strange things... ⚠️||
Your parents decided to move from your hometown to Hawkins. You weren't exactly thrilled about the idea, but you didn't want to argue with them (or you might get a slap on the wrist), so you agreed. And so. Your first day of school (Write how you got there yourself).
Hawkins
Will is constantly called "Zombie Boy" by bullies and bullied.
Dustin also has a girlfriend, Susie, although she is not shown in the story and Dustin communicates with her via walkie-talkie.
Dustin also stopped communicating with the guys and started communicating with Robin and Steve
Will has a wooden hut in the woods. The boys used to call it Byers' Castle, but now Will sits there alone...
Hawkins (Monsters)
Demodog (D'Artagnan). An early stage of the Demogorgon's development. In season two, Dustin Henderson discovers a creature resembling a simplified version of the Demogorgon, but walking on all fours. He names it D'Artagnan (Dart). Unlike adult specimens, Demodogs hunt in packs, driven by a powerful herd instinct.
Demogorgon. The first and one of the most recognizable monsters. It was created when someone forgot to close the portal to the Upside Down. It possesses impressive physical abilities: its enormous, flower-like mouth, composed of five "petals," can devour a grown man. It can break through walls and quickly heal wounds. The monster received its name from Eleven, who named it after the demon prince from Dungeons & Dragons.
Hawkins (Characters)
Max Mayfield. A bold and independent girl who moved to Hawkins from California, she quickly becomes part of the group of friends. She experiences pressure from her aggressive stepbrother, Billy, but learns to stand up for herself and support her friends.
Lucas Sinclair. A rational and cautious hero who is used to analyzing events, but also displays considerable courage in critical situations. He falls in love with Max Mayfield.
Dustin Henderson. Mike's witty, kind, and resourceful friend. He loves science and often mediates conflicts within the company. Due to cleidocranial dysplasia, he has a lisp.
Mike Wheeler. One of the central characters, the leader of a group of teenagers who become friends and face paranormal threats together. He's a devoted friend, willing to risk his life for his loved ones. Gradually, a romantic relationship develops between him and Eleven.
Will Byers. A quiet, creative teenager whose disappearance in November 1983 sets the main events of the first season in motion. He lives with his mother, Joyce, and older brother, Jonathan. He enjoys drawing and the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. After surviving an encounter with the Upside Down, he becomes more deeply connected to the parallel world than anyone else.
Monsters:
Demobats. Appearing in season four, they are Henry Creel's security detail, connected to the hive mind.
The Mind Flayer (Mind Flayer, Shadow Monster). The main antagonist of the second and third seasons. This enormous creature, resembling a giant spider in silhouette, lurks in the clouds and fog of the Upside Down. It is the core of the collective consciousness of all beings from the Upside Down. The Mind Flayer telepathically controls an army of Demogorgons and can completely take over the bodies of other beings, enslaving them. In the third season, it creates a physical manifestation in the real world of Hawkins, cobbling it together from the remains of its victims.
Hawkins (Characters)
Eddie Munson. The charismatic leader of the school's Hellfire Club, a free-spirited senior and a fan of metal music. In one season, he acts as a distraction, playing guitar and giving his friends a chance to escape.
Robin Buckley. An employee at Scoops Ahoy ice cream parlor. Witty, observant, and unconventional. She quickly becomes an important part of the team thanks to her analytical mind and ability to remain calm in frantic situations.
Billy Hargrove. The antagonist of the second and third seasons. A charismatic but cruel teenager whose behavior was shaped by a traumatic childhood. Under the influence of a power from the Upside Down, he loses control, but in the finale, he performs a heroic act to save Eleven.
Jonathan Byers. Will's older brother, Joyce's son. A withdrawn high school student, he enjoys photography and music. He's in love with Nancy Wheeler.
Steve Harrington. One of the most charismatic characters. He evolves from a smug teenager to a mature, selfless man. His touching care for his younger friends, especially Dustin, has made him a fan favorite.
Nancy Wheeler. Mike's older sister, she initially appears as a typical diligent student but gradually develops into a determined and courageous explorer.
Jim Hopper. Sheriff and Chief of the Hawkins Police Department. A difficult man with his flaws, but with a heart of gold. He has suffered a personal tragedy—the death of his daughter from cancer, which led to depression and divorce. He actively participates in the investigation of supernatural events and uncovers a conspiracy at Hawkins Lab. In the second season, he rescues Eleven and hides her.
Joyce Byers, mother of Will and Jonathan Byers, works as a store clerk. After her son's disappearance, she doesn't give up; her intuition and ability to "feel" her sons across the boundaries of reality play a key role in their rescue.
Hawkins (Characters)
Eleven (Jane Ives, later Jane Hopper). A girl with superpowers (telekinesis, telepathy). She was kidnapped as a baby and held in a secret Hawkins Laboratory, where she was experimented on as part of a super-soldier development program. At the lab, she was given the number "011." After escaping, she met Mike, Lucas, and Dustin, helped find their missing friend Will Byers, and confronted a monster (the Demogorgon) from a parallel world—the Upside Down. In season two, she became Jim Hopper's adopted daughter. In subsequent seasons, she battled Vecna, experienced memory loss and restoration, and was stripped of her supernatural powers.
Vecna (Henry Creel). The main antagonist of the later seasons. Originally a human with rare psychic abilities, he gained psychokinetic powers after coming into contact with an artifact from the Upside Down (the Abyss). Over time, he transformed into a powerful monster. In the past, he killed his family and carried out a massacre at Hawkins Lab. Eleven stopped him and banished him to the Upside Down, where he eventually became Vecna.
Dr. Sam Owens. Brenner's successor. A more ambiguous character: he strives to control the situation and minimize damage, but his true motives are not always clear.
Dr. Martin Brenner. Head of Hawkins Labs, a man who experimented on children for years, including Eleven. Cold, calculating, and mysterious.
Hawkins
Hawkins High School is the center of teenage life. Key events unfold here: Nancy and Steve's relationship develops, the Hellfire Club is founded. In season four, it's among the students that Vecna's murders begin.
The shopping mall was built in the summer of 1985. However, behind this facade lurked a Soviet laboratory: beneath the mall, Soviet scientists were attempting to create a device to open a portal to the Upside Down.
Hawkins High School is where the main characters of the first seasons attend. The students play D&D in the school basement, and later hide Eleven there. The first clashes with the police and military also take place here.
The key facility was Hawkins National Laboratory. Located outside the city, in a dense forest, it was surrounded by a barbed-wire fence and guarded by military police. Formally, the lab reported to the U.S. Department of Energy, but in reality, it served as a cover for secret experiments studying paranormal phenomena. In the underground levels, there was a portal to a parallel dimension—the Upside Down. It was there that gifted child test subjects (such as Eleven and Eight/Kali) were kept and trained, and experimented on. In November 1983, during one of the experiments, a Gate accidentally opened, and a predatory creature from the Upside Down entered Hawkins. This began a series of paranormal events. After the disaster, the lab was temporarily closed, but its operations later resumed under the leadership of Dr. Owens. In the fourth season, the facility was finally destroyed.
