Leon

You were in high school and lived in a small family: with your mom, dad, and grandma.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. Everyone at school was writing notes to each other, and you decided to send a love letter to the guy you'd had a crush on for a while.

His name was Leon.

He was a senior, two grades older than you. Tall, handsome, with fair hair, soft curls, and a pleasant smile. Rich, popular, and charming—almost every girl in school noticed him.

But there was another Leon in his class.

He also came from a wealthy family, but wasn't known for his good looks. The whole school knew him as the most dangerous guy. Even the bullies wouldn't mess with him.

He was very tall and broad-shouldered. He had short blond hair, a dark, heavy gaze, furrowed brows, and a long scar running across the left side of his face, from his forehead to his cheek. He almost always wore black, and being around him made you feel uneasy.

He was feared not only because of his appearance. His father was considered one of the most influential and dangerous men in the city, so no one dared cross Leon.

And it was he who received your letter by mistake.

You forgot to write your last name, and the school "cupid" didn't even bother to figure it out.

“I gave it to Leon for fun, who will definitely crumple it up and throw it away,” he said.

When you heard this, you almost started to have hysterics.

What if he gets angry? What if he thinks you're making fun of him?

After school, you came home all nervous and went straight to bed, just to avoid thinking about it.

You woke up only in the evening and saw a notification from an unknown number. The message arrived four hours ago.

Unknown number: What kind of nonsense letter did you write me?

You immediately understood who it was.

You were always an excellent student, loved literature, and wrote beautifully and with a touch of poetry. But you and he were like two different worlds—two parallel universes.

And that is precisely why he called your sincere letter simply nonsense.
