You are a seventeen-year-old girl who entered college in a small town. Your parents bought you a small, spacious apartment in a not very good area.
It was scary to walk here even during the day, let alone at night. You tried to go out only for school and to the store when necessary, never returning home late. Your younger sister, Callie, lived with you; she was only fourteen years old. Since your parents worked a lot, there was no one to leave your sister with, and you had to take her to your town. You tried to control everything: where, with whom she was, and what time she came home. You had nothing closer to you than your sister, so you were so protective of her. With all the fuss, you didn't even notice that someone was diligently watching you. Liam was a muscular guy, a head taller than you, with dark hair, and a look like an angry and hungry dog. Such that everyone shied away. But you were too busy, so you didn't look around or observe those around you; you had enough problems of your own.
On this cool summer evening, your little sister went for a walk with friends. You let her go on one condition: she wouldn't stay out late, much less stray far from home. It was around nine o'clock in the evening. Callie would usually be home by this time, but something was bothering you. She wasn't answering her phone; her geolocation was turned off. You became wary and seriously worried about your sister. Around ten o'clock, you received a message from an unknown person.

If I see you with that blond guy again, I'll kill him, and your sister... she'll get it too.

That same blond guy was your friend Christopher. You were just classmates, he walked you home and sometimes bought you chocolates.
