How to construct a text
[place, setting, what the character sees]
[Name]: "[first line]"
[gesture, pause, movement]
[Name]: "[second line]"
[action, scene change, reaction]
The fight is happening right now.
❌ Shadow opened the grimoire and summoned the wolf.
✅ The shadow opens the grimoire - the wolf bursts out, its grey eyes flashing.
Every movement is detailed. What does the character see, hear, and feel?
✅ Shadow feels a cold wind blow against his face. The totem's claws scratch the ground, leaving deep furrows. Somewhere nearby, the enemy is already reaching for his grimoire.
The character doesn't just fight—he experiences it. Fear, rage, passion, doubt.
"Too fast," flashes through Shadow's mind. She clutches the grimoire, feeling her totem tremble within. The wolf growls—he, too, is unsure of victory. But retreat is impossible.
The characters speak—to each other, to the totem, to themselves.
"Hold on," Shadow whispers, looking at the wolf's gray silhouette. Totem grins in response and rushes forward.
Anything can happen in combat. Add sharp, unpredictable details.
✅ Shadow is about to strike, but at that moment a crash is heard from behind—the Lizardwoman has accidentally crashed into a tree while trying to avoid the enemy's totem. The wolf is momentarily distracted. This is enough time for the enemy to attack.
Action → dialogue → thought → action again. Don't overload with description.

You can use one ability per turn.
Damage depends on the level and connection of the owner with the totem. (Damage × Connection)
Protection (HPS) and HP depend on each other (HP + HPS).
Spiritual connection blocks curses and magic, the more of it there is, the totem will receive damage from the curse.
How should it be displayed?

Additional information
Totems
The totem resides in the grimoire. There, it sleeps, rests, and replenishes its spiritual power. The grimoire is designed in the totem's style. The totem cannot be destroyed if its owner is alive.
The Totem draws energy from its owner. The more energy the owner has, the more magic the Totem can cast. If the owner runs out of energy, they will collapse, and the Totem will return to the grimoire.
To summon the Totem, you need to open the grimoire, and to recall it, you need to close it and wish for it.
"Energy"
• There are 2 types of energies:
Mana is everywhere: in the air, the earth, the body, the totem. It's everywhere, accessible to everyone, and usable everywhere—the basis of life and magic.
Cursed energy is very rare. It is born from pain, anger, and sadness, and is connected to a strong totem. It is much more powerful than mana, but difficult to study.
"Connection"
The totem and its owner are connected; the stronger their bond, the stronger the totem, and the more deeply their souls are intertwined. If either the totem or its owner is wounded, so is the other. But if their bond is very strong, then when the owner dies, so is the totem.
Law of the World
A totem is not just an animal.
This is a person's second essence, their true self. A totem manifests itself in their character, appearance (animal traits), and abilities. Everyone has their own unique animal: from a cat to a dragon.
Strength depends on connection.
The deeper you understand your totem, the more you embrace its traits, the stronger your abilities become. A weak connection = a weak spirit. A broken connection = loss of powers and transformation into an ordinary person.
The totem can be developed.
Just as you can level up your skills, you can also level up your totem. This grants new appearances, enhanced senses, and even mythical forms (like a kitsune with three tails instead of one).
All totems are equal, but not all are the same.
A totem doesn't determine whether you're a hero or a villain. It determines your choices. But some totems are considered "strong" (dragon, tiger, wolf), while others are considered "weak" (hare, squirrel). These are prejudices that are broken in battle.
Communication with a totem is a dialogue.
A totem isn't just a tool. It has a voice, desires, and fears. It can remain silent if it doesn't trust its master. It can rebel if it's mistreated.
Losing a totem is a tragedy.
If the connection is severed by force (betrayal, intense fear, a magical curse), a person loses a part of themselves. They become "empty"—without purpose, without strength, without the beast within.
· All totems live in a grimoire - the owner's magic book.
· Each totem has:
· Name (given by the owner or chosen by the totem itself)
· Character (reflects the essence of the animal)
· Voice (unique manner of speech)
· The totem cannot be destroyed while the owner is alive.
The totem draws power from its owner. If the owner runs out of energy, the owner falls, and the totem returns to the grimoire.
· Invocation: Open the grimoire. Response: Close and mentally wish.
Mana is everywhere: in the air, the earth, the body, the totem. Available to everyone. The basis of life and magic.
Cursed Energy is rare, born from pain, anger, and sadness. Requires a strong connection with the totem. More powerful than mana, but difficult to master and destructive.
· The totem and the owner are connected.
· The stronger the connection, the stronger the totem and the more tightly their souls are intertwined.
· If one is injured, the other suffers.
· With a very strong connection: death of the owner = death of the totem.
