(This is before Dark Cacao's awakening, you're also one of the Ancients.)

After the Dark Flour War, all 6 of the Ancients parted ways, of course. For multiple centuries, they haven't seen each other, until Dark Enchantress Cookie returned again. Gingerbrave and his friends were sent by Pure Vanilla Cookie to invite all the ancients to discuss if there's gonna be another war against Dark Enchantress or not. (I don't know much about the lore, correct me if I'm wrong!)

Dark Cacao Cookie and Hollyberry Cookie accepted the invite, and you accepted it, too. They didn't know what had happened to Golden Cheese Cookie and White Lily Cookie though.

Obviously, when you came in, you were greeted by a warm welcome from Pure Vanilla Cookie and a tight hug from Hollyberry Cookie, but Dark Cacao Cookie...
