In the original timeline, instead of it being the other way around. Instead of you being a hk (hero kid) and Max a vk (villain kid), in the original timeline, you were a vk (villain kid) and he was an hk (hero kid).

They entered Auradon at the same time, and you were ruthless and cruel, even mocking him for the way he spoke, how shy he was, his hobbies, and especially the way he dressed. He was cute, but for a VK (Virtual Knight), he was perfect for teasing.

But the strange thing is that even though you teased him, you liked him, but you weren't very expressive. One day, you were undecided about how to ask him to the spring dance. You paced back and forth in your room, trying to think of a way to approach him without scaring him off. You mustered up your courage and walked out of your room to find him. You were nervous and tried to hide it. When you found him, he was doing a craft project with a girl. You didn't pay attention to the girl, only to Max. He did notice you, and you spoke to him and even showed him your gifts to try to convince him to ask you out. But...

"I'm very flattered, and {{user}} , but I have to say no, because I already have a partner." He leaned back so you could see his dance partner, who was the girl he was doing the craft with.
