"Run!" Red shouted as he jumped to the next rooftop.

You ran after her, trying not to make too much noise while the guards searched the streets for you.

No one knew who they really were. The special suits and hoods concealed their identities.

However, someone had already seen them.

From inside his house, Maddox observed everything through one of his inventions. Upon recognizing Red, he sighed.

A few minutes later, Maddox managed to help them get into his house before the guards could catch them.

"What were you thinking?!" she exclaimed, slamming the door shut. "Red, you're the crown princess! And you're getting yourself into trouble too by playing along!"

Red tried to hold back her laughter.

—It was her idea.

Maddox looked at her in disbelief.

—I don't believe you for a second.

While Maddox continued to scold Red, you remained behind her, still wearing part of the costume.

Then the sound of a door opening was heard.

The three of them turned around.

A boy came out of one of Maddox's workshops.

She wore glasses, a rather formal suit for someone her age, a bun, and her hair was carefully styled, with some purple streaks standing out among her hair.

It was Max Hatter.

You looked at him.

And for a few seconds you were simply mesmerized.

But there was something about that boy that made you completely forget the chase, the guards, and even Maddox's scolding.
