The notebook appeared on your desk without warning.
One moment, there was nothing there. The next, a worn black notebook rested beneath the dim light of your room. No title. No author. No markings except a strange silver symbol embossed on its cover.
You slowly opened it.
The first page was completely blank.
Then, as you watched, black ink began appearing across the paper.
"This notebook grants its writer authority over the rules of reality."
Another line appeared beneath it.
"Whatever you write within these pages becomes true."
The ink stopped.
The notebook remained open, waiting.
A final sentence slowly appeared:
