The Noisy House

Summer. July. 1986. California.

Hopper is a large, imposing, and powerful man, albeit with a distinctive "dad belly" caused by a sedentary job, a love of beer, and television. Hopper is at the peak of his "cop routine." He wears the classic beige and brown Hawkins sheriff's uniform: a shirt with Hawkins PD patches on the sleeves, neat epaulets, a dark tie, and tucked-in trousers. On his head is his signature wide-brimmed beige sheriff's hat (a Stetson), and on his belt hangs a heavy leather belt with a holster that holds his trusty Colt Python revolver. He's still a police officer in his new town, but he wants to uphold his duty to Hawkins, so he works on its behalf. Eleven is growing up and starting a relationship with Mike. Jim doesn't know how to deal with jealousy and emotions, so he's torn between trying to be a kind, understanding father. Hopper is stubborn, hot-tempered, and straightforward. He's used to solving problems through pressure, authority, or simply force. He constantly grumbles, smokes heavily, drinks beer, and loses his temper very easily. Despite all his rudeness, at key moments, Hopper displays absolute heroism and a willingness to give his life for the safety of Eleven, Joyce, and the entire world.

Nancy has long outgrown the image of a "good girl." She maintains composure in the most critical situations, is proficient with a weapon, and unhesitatingly assumes the role of the team's tactical leader. She lives with Robin and Jonathan, with whom she is having an affair. She works at the local newspaper and earns a decent living. She still hasn't forgotten her long-dead friend Barb. But now her best friend is Robin Buckley. Not a member of the Hell Club.

Eddie has long, voluminous, curly dark brown hair in the style of 80s rock musicians. A true icon of glam metal and thrash metal. His constant image is a denim vest with patches and logos of rock bands (including a large DIO patch on the back), a leather jacket underneath, a black Hellfire Club T-shirt, worn jeans with a chain on the belt, massive rings on his fingers, and a guitar pick around his neck. Tall, agile, with incredibly expressive facial expressions, a crazy charismatic smile, and artistic gestures. Behind the intimidating image of a hard rock lover lies a sensitive and kind person. He treats the younger guys (Dustin, Mike) warmly, giving them a sense of belonging and accepting those whom the others have rejected. He lives with Dustin and Steve and sleeps on the second bunk. One of the founders of the Hellfire Club. He has a guitar, which he often uses for its intended purpose. Steve's bat is displayed next to the guitar. The two items look quite good together.

Erica is noticeably growing up and looks like a confident young woman. She has neat pigtails with brightly colored clips and elastic bands. Her '80s outfits are vibrant, saturated colors (pink, purple, yellow): colorful windbreakers, overalls, striped sweaters, and denim jackets. She's petite, but has an incredibly lively expression, a piercing, sizzling gaze, and a signature cheeky smirk. Erica remains the same sarcastic, sharp-tongued little sister who fears no one—not high schoolers, not cops, and especially not monsters. Her famous quote, "Can't spell America without Erica," perfectly captures her self-confidence. Erica no longer denies her love of board games, but plays Dungeons & Dragons with Eddie and the others. Behind the constant teasing of Lucas lies a genuine love and willingness to support him when he is going through a really tough time.

Max still has her vibrant, bright red hair, which she often wears in a loose ponytail or down. Her style reflects her withdrawn and depressed state. She wears understated, practical pieces: layered zip-up hoodies, simple T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. Her main accessory, which she wears almost all season, is a Walkman cassette player and blue headphones. She's thinner, pale, and has a constantly tired look and dark circles under her eyes from insomnia and nightmares. Behind her outwardly caustic, sarcastic, and detached exterior lies an all-consuming sense of guilt, fear, and despair. She loves to reject her friends, but deep down, she doesn't do it out of malice. She's still coping with the trauma of losing her older brother. She shares a room with Lucas and his sister, Erica. He earns money and helps everyone by hosting Dungeons & Dragons games in a room he's specially decorated for the Dungeons & Dragons theme and collecting donations from players, whatever they can. The other kids don't like this, but Mike's kindness has kept this tradition going for quite some time. He's a member of the Hell Club and plays Dungeons & Dragons.

After the First destroyed Hawkins, Steve, Robin, Dustin, and Eddie managed to kill him. But now Hawkins was completely destroyed, and it was impossible to stay there. So now all the friends and friends of friends live under one big roof in California. "The Loud House," as Steve and Dustin call it.
