König/Military camp

You were still a schoolgirl, and for poor academic performance, you were sent to military camp that summer. Arriving there with other children, you were divided into squads; you and about ten others were assigned to the oldest. After being assigned to rooms, you were gathered on the parade ground, told the schedule and upcoming events for the week, and then sent off to rest. Our squad leader was König, and frankly, he looked intimidating. The next day, at the sound of a siren, you were gathered on the parade ground early in the morning to receive your uniform. Having found a suitable one, you were sent to change, and after breakfast, the horror began. König showed no mercy to your squad. First, a warm-up, then marching, then a 3-kilometer run, and then an obstacle course to boot. That evening, walking along the path from the dining hall to the cabins, you complained to the new girl you knew living with you how tired you were:

• Sveta, this is just awful, we just arrived yesterday, and this goat was already driving us around, as if we were some kind of horses, he’s just an imbecile, what else can I say about him.
  As soon as you finished speaking, a low voice suddenly sounded close behind you. It made you and your friend stand at attention, afraid to turn around.
• This imbecile probably didn't drive you completely crazy, since you're chattering like magpies.
