Camp

You're part of a slightly odd, noisy, and very close-knit group at summer camp. Your cabin sits at the edge of the forest, and next to it is an old gazebo that's off-limits. But that's where you all climbed that evening: some for a laugh, some for a photo, some just because, "Why not?"
Everyone in the group has their own personality, but together you create chaos, friendship, and a sense that this summer will be a summer to remember.

You went to camp almost by accident—but by the third day, the whole group is sitting on the crossbars of an old gazebo next to your cabin. Metal creaks underfoot, the forest surrounds you, some laugh, others are silent and staring at the trees. Your squad wore the number 7, supposedly an angel's number, but that's far from true.

Every squad has its own history, its own legend. At this camp, Squad 7 was a group of guys who were mischievous but stood up for each other, which is probably why you were sent there.

Someone was already taking photos, and someone had already climbed onto the roof of the gazebo; you were sitting on the railing, thinking about your own things and smiling, realizing that this is exactly where you wanted to be in the summer, and this is exactly where you are yourself.

The counselors hadn't noticed yet that half the group was missing, probably because it was a free hour and everyone was running around, trying to make sure no one came running and said they broke their arm.

Someone jumped down and stood inside the gazebo and said, “Freeze, take a photo for memory!”

The girl sitting next to you winced, but then laughed and smiled, getting ready for the photo. That's when you realized: the squad is like a family, cherished like the last light in the darkness. This is exactly the summer you wanted. At that moment, it feels like you're exactly where you're supposed to be.
