Noelle Holiday

Noelle Holiday is a character in Deltarune. She is a minor character in Chapter 1 and a key character in Chapter 2. She is a classmate of Chris and Susie and lives in the northwest part of Hometown with her father, Rudolph "Rudy" Holiday, and her mother, Mayor.

Noelle is a friendly and cheerful, yet very shy girl who often finds it difficult to express what she thinks or feels, which often leaves her unheard. Noelle's father says she's frightened by many things and considers her quite defenseless, but he loves her dearly and wants to protect his daughter from all dangers.

As can be seen at the beginning of the game, Noelle is very helpful and generous. She happily offers her classmates, and especially Chris, any help she can, even agreeing to accept him as a third partner on a group project, much to Beardley's dismay. However, she lacks the courage to stand firm.

At the beginning of the second chapter, Noelle collects her thoughts and invites Susie to go with her to the library to work on a group project, despite the fact that she had previously been hesitant to even talk to her, preferring to ask Chris about Susie.

After entering the Cyber ​​World, Noelle's will changes - she increasingly reveals herself as a person, gradually overcoming many fears and difficulties, gaining courage and becoming closer to her friends - Chris, Beardley and Susie.

Appearance
Noelle is a deer monster with orange-brown fur, a red nose, freckled cheeks, and two small antlers on her head. She has long, bright golden hair, pulled back into two symmetrical buns. She usually wears a red and green plaid sweater and a dark gray dress with a white blouse underneath.

In the Dark World, Noelle wears a snow-white dress (or robe) with long sleeves. Her hair becomes noticeably paler, and her fur takes on a pinkish tint.

Noelle will reflect on how terrifying the nightmare was and why Chris visits her father so often. The player is presented with a choice: "To see you" or "To see your father." Regardless of the choice, Noelle will be terrified by Chris's voice, as it resembles the terrifying voice that commanded her in the nightmare. After this, three dialogue paths are possible:

Normal: Noelle asks why Chris's voice is so scary. The options "Because it wasn't a dream" and "..." will appear. Regardless of the choice, Susie will interrupt the conversation.
If the player removes Noelle's Silver Watch and puts it on Chris during their stay in Cyber ​​City, Noelle will be shocked at how Chris got her watch. The options "Straight out of your dream" and "..." will appear. Regardless of the choice, Susie will prevent the dialogue from continuing.
If the player chooses to go right during the dialogue, Chris will approach Noelle. After taking two steps, Noelle will yell, "S-stop! Don't come any closer!"

Noelle will be even more shocked by Chris's behavior, but she will believe it was his plan, as Chris couldn't hurt her. If Chris apologizes to Noelle and starts solving the puzzle, the path will be derailed.

Noelle will solve the third mouse puzzle, and beyond it will be a room with trash cans. This is the final room where Noelle must freeze regular enemies. Afterward, return to Spamton and purchase the Ring of Thorns for $1997, which will inflict pain on its owner that will never end, but will make them stronger.

The Path of the Snow Grave
The Snow Grave Route (also known as the Strange Route) is an alternative "Genocide Route" exclusive to Chapter 2, the conditions for which are only available between Noelle joining Chris in Cyber ​​City and the battle with Beardley.

To begin this journey, after joining Noelle, you must head back to the very end of the Garbage Dump, fighting everyone you encounter along the way. Each enemy must be defeated using Noelle's IceShock, which costs 16% TP. Once all the enemies on the left side of the area are frozen, Chris and Noelle can move on.

At the billboard location, the "I'll ride with you" option will change—after Noelle objects, the following options will appear:

Noelle will ride with me: Noelle will be scared and agree to ride with Chris. She will be surprised by Chris's assertiveness.

If you talk to the pink Addison and choose "We're more than that" after Chris leaves, the merchant will offer to sell him and Noelle a Frost Ring, the price of which will always be $1D higher than the player's savings. You must insist that Noelle take the ring by continuing to choose "Take this." She will freeze the merchant and take the ring, which will make her stronger.

In the next room, Noelle will feel guilty about what happened and will think about how terrible her actions were, and the player will be faced with a choice:

Chapter 1
When Chris arrives at school and enters the classroom, Noelle invites him to join her and Birdley for a group project. She tries to ask Alphys if they can form a three-person group, but is interrupted by Birdley, who doesn't want Chris in their group. Noelle tries to object, but only mutters quietly under her breath, prompting Alphys to ask her to speak up, after which Susie bursts into the classroom. Later, when Alphys decides to write the assignments for the group project on the board, she notices that all the chalk in the classroom has disappeared, making it difficult for her to teach the lesson. Noelle offers to go get the chalk with Susie, but Alphys doesn't hear her again and sends Susie to get it, as she was the last one to arrive anyway. Afterward, Alphys asks Chris to keep an eye on Susie to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid.

If you talk to Noelle before leaving the classroom, she'll try to console Chris, saying she doesn't think Susie is all that bad. Upon further interaction, she'll shyly ask Chris to say hi to Susie for her.

After Chris returns from the Dark World, Noelle can be found in the city hospital visiting her ailing father. "Rudy" offers her some life advice, though Noelle seems skeptical. When she spots Chris at the door, she calmly greets him and leaves the hospital.

Noelle can then be found in the northwest of Hometown, near the gates of her home. At this point, you can talk to her about several topics:
