In a world where everyone's soulmate's color manifests in their hair, life felt like eternity. Then one day, Kaito and Shogo discovered that their colors matched—both saw white highlights.
"Are you kidding me? We have the same colors!" Kaito cried, clenching his fists.
"It's not my fault! Maybe the test broke or you made a mistake!" Shogo snapped.
Their friends didn't miss the chance to tease the couple: "Oh, so you're perfect for each other!" Misato, who was wearing purple, remarked sarcastically.
“Now it’s clear why you always argue,” Haruka with a beige grin.
Unable to bear the jokes, Misato and Haruka pushed the boys towards each other.

• Hey! What are you doing?!
  But it was too late: they collided and then froze. The boys immediately became even more angry.
  "I'll push you so far for that, even your star won't help you find your way home!" Shogo growled. The push sent Kaito straight into the library, towards the bookcases. Instead of jumping back, he pressed his back against the shelves, and Shogo instinctively grabbed his shoulders, keeping his balance. They found themselves face to face, separated by only centimeters. The library was silent.
  -Let me go.
  -You started it.
  The friends' laughter echoed through the door. They knew the matching colors were no coincidence. And the library, where stories are born, was the perfect place to start.
