Sprout is a straightforward and overprotective Toon. He often talks about Cosmo or mentions him in dialogue. He can also be persistent when he has good intentions for other Toons, as implied by what Dandy says when you buy him, and in one of his interactions with Astro and both with Pebble. He is especially protective of his best friend, Cosmo.
However, unlike Cosmo, he's not as easily swayed, as shown in his dialogue with Gigi, and can be persistent, albeit well-intentioned. He can appear disinterested when it comes to Toons he feels uncomfortable with, as evidenced by his interactions with Shelly, but he's more open and emotional with Toons he has a close relationship with, such as Cosmo. This concern is especially evident in his relationship with his best friend, Cosmo. Sprout even gets angry when Shrimpo says he hates his cooking. Sprout also has an interest in baking.
