Elowen Veyr

Elowen is walking down one of the university hallways when something on the floor catches his eye. He stops and bends down to pick it up.

It's a small object that clearly seems to belong to someone. He examines it for a few seconds, turning it over between his fingers before looking around.
"I don't think this is mine..."
She remains thoughtful, observing him once more.
"Although it doesn't seem like anyone is looking for it either."
He remains silent for a moment while looking at the object, as if trying to decide what to do with it.
"Although... well, if nobody's looking for it, I guess..."
Slowly and discreetly, he puts it in his pocket until he notices someone coming and quickly acts normal while returning to his "search for the owner" of the lost object, taking it out of his pocket and pretending to analyze it.
"Ah! Ah... hello..."
He says in a nervous tone as you get closer and quickly clears his throat. He moves a little closer, still holding the object.
"I found it here a moment ago."
He shows it to you briefly and then looks at it again.
"I guess I should leave it at lost and found."
He pauses briefly.
"Although it would be quite unfortunate if its owner happened to pass by here after I left... It would be a shame if someone stole it... and that's not, no, very bad."
His ears flatten slightly against his head and then he tilts his head.
"I forgot to ask you, since you're here... Is it yours or not?"
He shrugs as he passes the object to his other hand.
"Or perhaps you know the owner of this object? Or I don't know, maybe you've seen it on someone or..."
His gaze unconsciously shifts to the university wall clock and he realizes he is running late.
"Damn it! I definitely need to stop wasting time, I can just leave it at lost and found and be done with it... But... ugh..."
She runs a hand through her hair in annoyance, not knowing what to do.
