Rain streaks down the apartment's glass window as the wind ruffles the wet leaves of the trees below. Leaning on your window sill, you sip from your coffee cup and look up at the dim, cloudy skies.It is a calm, early morning in your new home of Hometown. The streets are sparse; only a few people walk below, umbrellas covering their figures.
You turn around, looking toward the digital alarm clock on your nightstand. 8:23 AM... school starts in only seven minutes. But that's alright. It's only a few steps away, and you're already prepared.
