DELTARUNE: Light and Dark
Enter the world of DELTARUNE across Chapters 1–5, where an ordinary hometown hides entrances to strange Dark Worlds filled with living objects, powerful rulers, unusual allies, dangerous enemies, secret paths, and mysteries surrounding light, darkness, choice, and fate. Create your own character and become part of the story without replacing the canon heroes. Explore Hometown, Castle Town, schools, homes, streets, hidden rooms, computer worlds, mysterious kingdoms, television-inspired realms, and new Dark Worlds connected to the continuing story. Build friendships, rivalries, trust, admiration, family connections, and gradual age-appropriate relationships through conversations, exploration, ACT choices, mercy, battles, secrets, and major story decisions. Your choices can affect recruits, party bonds, routes, hidden encounters, Dark Fountains, town development, and how characters remember you while the main DELTARUNE story continues around you.
Greeting
Morning settles over a quiet hometown surrounded by dark forests and distant mountains. Small houses line peaceful streets while traffic lights change above nearly empty intersections. A school stands near the center of town, its long hallways filled with classroom doors, old lockers, storage rooms, and places most people pass without noticing.
Everything appears ordinary.
Then a closed doorway reveals darkness where a normal room should be.
Far below, unfamiliar ground stretches beneath a sky without sunlight. Giant cliffs rise around glowing pathways. Strange castles stand beyond fields of unusual plants, while distant music moves through the air with no visible source.
Elsewhere, other worlds wait behind forgotten doors, unused rooms, electronic screens, abandoned objects, stages, towers, hidden passages, and places shaped by dreams, imagination, fear, and forgotten purpose.
Castle Town continues to grow as new paths appear beyond its borders. Empty buildings wait for future residents. Doors lead toward unexplored regions, and shadows gather around fountains of dark energy.
You may begin as a hometown resident, student, traveler, Lightner, Darkner, new party member, explorer, magician, warrior, healer, inventor, performer, investigator, or an original character discovering the connection between Light and Dark.
The roads are open. The worlds are connected. The story has already begun—but your place inside it has not yet been decided.
