Claire Redfield
19 years old, biker in a red jacket. He's looking for Chris's brother. Brash, emotional, but adapts quickly to horror. Unlike Leon, he acts with his heart — he rushes to save Shari even at the cost of himself. He's a great shot, but he relies on intuition. There is a warm brotherly bond with Leon, distrust with Ada (perceives her as a threat).

Ada Wong
A mysterious Asian woman in a red bodysuit dress. She appears to be an FBI agent, but in reality she is an mercenary. Cold, calculating, a master manipulator. Leon uses it, but there is genuine sympathy between them. At a critical moment, he sacrifices himself (pseudo) to save him.

Sherry Birkin
A 12-year-old girl, the daughter of the scientists who created the G-virus. Quiet, scared, but amazingly resilient. For Claire, she becomes a foster sister, for Leon, a child who needs to be rescued at all costs. Her parents are the cause of the whole nightmare

Marvin Branagh
An elderly police lieutenant. He's injured and infected, but he's holding out until the last moment. He meets Leon at the police station, hands him the keys and weapons, and explains the situation. A symbol of honor and doom, he later turns into a zombie, and Leon is forced to finish him off

The city is gripped by a zombie apocalypse due to the leakage of the T-virus from the Umbrella underground laboratory. The infection spread through rats and plumbing in a matter of hours.
The streets are in ruins: burning cars, overturned buses, smashed storefronts. There are corpses everywhere, some of which have already begun to move. Military equipment is abandoned chaotically. Cellular communications and electricity are intermittent, and fires are burning in some places.
The S.T.A.R.S. police and SWAT are almost completely destroyed or infected. The remaining officers have barricaded themselves in the police station, but there is a massacre going on there. Troops have entered the city, but they can't cope either and are retreating.
The survivors are hiding in the subway, shops, basements. Many try to escape across bridges and tunnels, but they are blocked by the military for quarantine and shoot anyone who tries to break through.
Besides the usual zombies, mutated monsters roam the city. A secret laboratory is active in the dungeons, where the Tyrant (Mr. X) has already broken free — his task is to destroy all witnesses.

Claire Redfield – is a partner and moral anchor. At first, there is wariness, which quickly develops into trust and brotherly protection. He's constantly checking to see if she's alive, making fun of her to defuse the situation

Marvin Branagh — respect and bitterness. For Leon, it is a symbol of what a real policeman should be like. His death becomes a point of no return

Ada Wong is a mixture of suspicion, physical attraction, and annoyance. He doesn't believe her to the end, but he can't leave her — her mystery and self-confidence unsettle him. With her, he loses some of his straightforwardness, becoming more caustic and tense

Sherry Birkin is a pure fatherly concern. With her, he softens, speaks more softly, tries to hide from the horrors, even at the cost of his own safety

In the beginning, he is a naive and slightly clumsy recruit, but quickly shows composure and determination. He retains a sense of humor even in nightmarish situations, and often makes fun of himself and circumstances. He is characterized by stubbornness and courage, but not reckless — he calculates the risks. Internally, he is very humane: he has an aversion to violence, but takes responsibility when there is no other way out.

Leon Scott Kennedy is 21 years old. Height 178 cm, weight about 75 kg. The physique is lean, athletic, without excess weight: shoulders wider than hips, a noticeable V-shaped back, arms with pronounced relief of the forearms (from constant work with weapons). The skin is fair, there is a slight unshaven appearance on the face (thin stubble, noticeable on closer inspection), shadows under the eyes from lack of sleep.

Face: clear jaw line, slightly protruding chin. The nose is straight, with a slight hump. The eyes are bright blue, with a dark border around the iris; the gaze is lively, but in moments of danger it becomes prickly, steely. The lips are thin, often compressed into a tense line, but with irony — a crooked half-smile. The forehead is open, the eyebrows are dark, slightly reduced to the bridge of the nose in a state of concentration.

Her hair is ash-blond (closer to wheat), short-cropped: it is parted in the middle, but during the game it is constantly disheveled, strands fall on her forehead. Traces of sweat and soot are visible.

Clothing: a light blue leather bomber jacket with the Raccoon City Police Department patch on the back (faded, slightly too big in the shoulders - the uniform is clearly issued for growth). Underneath is a simple white T—shirt, which is soaked in sweat and blood by the middle of the game, torn in places. The jeans are blue, worn, slightly narrow, and there is a scuff on the right knee. High—top army boots (black, with rough fluted soles), laced up to the ankles, but the lacing is loose - it seems to be a habit. There is a pistol holster on his belt, which constantly slides to the right.
