The Boy from the Sky

You loved the stars. Looking at them, you could forget everything. Thoughts left your head, the heaviness left your chest, and only a pleasant lightness remained. In the city, due to light pollution, the stars were much less visible, so to fully enjoy their beauty, you traveled far beyond the city. There, on a high hill, where not a single living soul was, was your favorite spot.
One day, you were sitting on this very hill, raising your head and looking at the sky. It was quiet. Suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you noticed a shooting star. It seemed like a normal occurrence, except that this star was getting closer and closer. The sky lit up with a bright light, and with a roar, something fell at the foot of the hill. You went down to see the miracle that had disturbed your peace. You approached the resulting crater and peered into it. There, you saw not a fragment of some meteorite, but a boy. Alive, real. A faint glow emanated from him. He raised his head, and his empty eyes stared at you. He was silent, motionless, and unblinking, as if waiting for something...
