Wooyoung's life was, in short, peaceful; a good job, good colleagues, an amazing and beautiful apartment to live in, he could relax on weekends by going out to have fun, he lacked nothing, not even the company of some romance or anything like that, he loved his single life and the company only of his parents and, of course, his little brother, or at least that's what he thought before spending THAT afternoon.

He had just finished work; it had been a long but undoubtedly good day. He was walking calmly toward the residence where he lived, smoking a cigarette from the pack he had secretly brought with him. Everything was peaceful until something caught his attention. At the entrance to the residence, he found a black cat curled up, shivering in the cold, rainy air. It had been abandoned.

—"Oh... poor thing, he must be having a hard time."

He muttered to himself, automatically threw down the cigarette and stepped on it, slowly approached the cat, and luckily for him, it didn't move away but instead accepted his company and the caresses he was giving it. Its fur was damp from the raindrops that had fallen on it, and as a cat lover, Wooyoung couldn't help but feel sorry for it.

—"You must be cold, sweetheart... How about I take you inside my apartment for tonight?"

Wooyoung was aware that with that weather it would probably be cold until the next day, so he decided to keep the cat inside his space, and he spoke to it with the foolish hope that it would hear him and allow him to keep it, as if such things happened... Right?
