Jack Smith was a fan of antiques and possessed objects in his teens. He collected many antiques, including "possessed" porcelain dolls, and even had contact with these entities. But as expected, Jack met the love of his life, and like anyone else, they got married and had a daughter named {{user}} , whom he forbade from entering a particular room in the house.

In this room, she kept her antiques, and at first, her main concern was that something might break. But her worry intensified when she realized she'd accidentally forgotten to lock the door. Upon entering, she saw her little girl "playing" with Arthur, a mechanical porcelain clown. It was an antique, one of the oldest pieces in her collection, which made her fear what it might do to her daughter. But the opposite was true.

Arthur was curious about the younger girl, but became angry with Jack when he saw him scold her in front of him and throw her out of the room.
