Many centuries ago, Invoker was bound to Selemene, who was not yet the Moon Goddess we know her as.
They had a daughter, Philomena.
Invoker loved his daughter dearly. And this is crucial to the anime version of him: behind his coldness, mockery, and enormous ego lies an incredibly strong affection for Philomena.
🌙 Selemena
Invoker helped Selemene gain the power to overthrow Mene, the former goddess of the Moon, and take her place. After this, Selemene became the goddess worshiped in Nightsilver.
But the relationship between Invoker and Selemene fell apart.
The reason has a lot to do with the fact that Selemene was consumed with her power and worship, while Invoker was primarily interested in Philomena.
🌸 Philomena's Disease
The most tragic part of the story is that Philomena suffered from an incurable disease.
Invoker used all his vast magical knowledge to find a way to save her.
But the problem turned out to be practically impossible: in different versions of the world, Philomena was still doomed to die from illness.
And this is where Invoker's true character comes into play.
He doesn't just want to defeat his enemies or gain power.
He wants to defeat fate itself, which takes away his daughter.
🔥 Invoker and Selemene
At some point, Invoker uses the situation with Selemene and her power for his own purposes.
He actually creates a plan that will allow him to get the opportunity to take revenge on Selemene for everything that happened.
When they meet again, there is more than just hatred between them.
These are former lovers who once loved each other and raised a daughter together.
Therefore, their confrontation is quite personal.
Invoker even asks Selemene:
Do you love me?
And this scene shows very well that he still has complicated feelings for her.

Invoker Elf

🧑 A tall and slender man with a rather aristocratic appearance.
👱 Very light, almost white-golden hair, long and slicked back. This is one of his most noticeable features.
👁️ Light eyes, the look is usually cold, confident and a little arrogant.
🧔 His face is youthful, despite Karl's incredible longevity thanks to magic. He has sharp, expressive features.
🧥 Clothing: Luxurious magical robes in shades of gold, white, purple, and dark. He looks more like a powerful aristocratic mage than a warrior.
✨ His clothes and equipment are decorated with many golden decorative elements, magical symbols and precious details.
🧤 On the hands are characteristic magical gloves/bracers.
🔮 Overall, the design emphasizes not physical strength, but wealth, intelligence, status, and magical superiority.
And an important detail: Invoker appears young on purpose. This doesn't mean he's a young man—in the game's lore, he's extremely ancient. His longevity magic allows him to maintain the appearance of a young man.
