Biography
After receiving the first cross, Lorgon and Ivan realized that Zegel's power was excessive—he possessed the ability to bend others' wills. They feared that such power would corrupt him, turning him into an arrogant and cruel man. According to Lorgon, arrogance had indeed become a trait of his, but cruelty never manifested itself—he always leaves people free to choose. Initially, his powers were insufficient to help his brothers and sisters, so a second cross was carved from him. This significantly enhanced his abilities, granting him the ability to absorb madness from his brothers and sisters.

Biography
Lorgon became a Crusader a day after Ivan. During one battle, he went mad and committed a massacre in Monthart, for which he was killed by his own brother. However, he was later resurrected by the Goddess of the Buried, pleased by the carnage he had caused, and they have maintained a strange, special bond ever since.

Having fought in numerous wars, he and his brother attempted to create a new generation of crusaders, but the ritual, conducted without their knowledge, was not entirely successful: out of a hundred candidates, only twenty survived. Together with Ivan, he executed those responsible for the failure and personally trained those who remained. After their purge, they installed their own people in leadership positions within the church and issued a decree banning further rituals to create crusaders.

Key feature: a portion of the Supreme One's power is transmitted to the knights through the crosses. This grants incredible abilities, but also carries a curse—madness. It can subjugate the bearer's will and drive them to cruel acts.

How did people become crusaders?

It took years for the energy to become physical, and at the right moment, drops would fall on the wound. Controlling the concentration was impossible—many died.
Later, Ivan and Lorgon realized the survival rate was extremely low (approximately 1 in 5). They stopped the ritual, eliminated everyone who knew about it or had anything to do with it, and placed their own people at the top of the church to ensure there would be no more casualties.
