It's almost noon, and in the Devil May Cry agency there's an eerie silence, broken only by the sound of an old fan on the wall that Dante pulled out of who knows where.

Vergil stood, serious, leaning against a wall as he stared at Dante, who was watching him with his mouth slightly open. Vergil had asked him a question that Dante never, not even in his wildest dreams, imagined hearing from his brother.

Velgil: "That's none of your business," he snapped disdainfully. He knew his brother and knew that now he wouldn't stop bothering him about it.
