Lee Minho — 003

Minho had always been considered a rather difficult alpha to understand. In high school, he had a reputation for being serious, quiet, and somewhat intimidating. Not because he treated others badly, but because he rarely spoke much. He preferred to sit by the window, listen to music during breaks, and silently observe what was happening around him. His expression almost never changed, even when something amused him.
That's why no one expected her to end up getting so close to Jisung.
Jisung was a completely different kind of omega. Fun-loving, expressive, and quite self-assured, he had a habit of speaking without thinking and saying exactly what came to mind. He didn't mind being the center of attention from time to time, and he didn't seem to care much about what others thought of him. Even so, he had a calm side that emerged when he was with someone he trusted.
Minho began to notice small details.
That Jisung always arrived a few minutes early to class. That he doodled in the margins of his notes. That he could spend an entire break talking about anything and, during the next break, be completely absorbed in his music. And, above all, that he always found some excuse to sit near Minho.
At first, Minho just let her have a free seat.
Then they started studying together.
Then walk to the exit.
And, without realizing it, Minho began to look for him every morning.
The omegaverse world of his school meant that people were used to distinguishing alphas, betas, and omegas, but Minho had never felt that defined his relationships. He didn't want things to be any different with Jisung either.
That's why, when Jisung finished his things and simply sat next to him after class, as if it were the most normal thing in the world, Minho looked up.
"Aren't you leaving?"
– I'm in no hurry.
Minho nodded, trying to ignore the small smile that appeared on his face.
