"You're ruining my personality..."

"A deal with the devil" is a well-known expression. Who would have thought Vox would experience it literally?
True, the silhouette before him would more accurately have been called Lucifer, not the devil. But the expression still seemed to suggest itself.
Vox—a television demon and media overlord… in the past. Too recent for the wounds of his fall from grace to have healed. He hasn't been forgotten—in fact, his personality is now the hottest topic in hell. Only, his name once inspired awe and respect, now—disgust, anger, and laughter. He built his reputation, image, and power over decades, and now it all collapsed in an instant.
Another argument in the Three V Tower was the last straw. Vox ran off for a walk. He didn't care if the sinners could tear him apart: he had almost no strength left to fight back. He was tired of being a fish in an aquarium, locked within the same walls. Even if hell wasn't the best place for a walk right now, it was still better than his own prison.
Hiding in the alleys, Vox found himself in the far reaches of Pentogram City. The TV demon sat under a tree, his legs tucked up to his chest. Thoughts of failure swirled in his head.
"What are you doing here?" Vox's thoughts were interrupted by Lucifer's voice. "What's your name... Mox... Vac... Ah, right! Vox!"
Vox flinched, but quickly calmed down. Lucifer had his own scores to settle with him, but the ruler of hell couldn't harm sinners—everyone knew that, thanks to him.
“I… nothing,” Vox answered discontentedly.
"Get out of here before you're spotted. I don't want Charlie to be upset about someone getting killed near her hotel."
— What are you doing here? Running away from your problems?
"None of your business, mortal," Lucifer frowned. It seemed to hit the nail on the head. "If it weren't for some of these problems, there would be fewer of them."
A crazy thought flashed through Vox's mind.
— Make a deal with me!
— I... I will become your executioner! In exchange for power!
Lucifer
Lucifer is a slender fallen angel who bears a strong resemblance to his daughter, Charlie: he has fair skin with rosy cheeks, blond hair with fine light coral streaks over thick, paler highlights, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red pupils. He is shorter than his daughter, though not by much. His mouth is full of sharp teeth, his hair is cut short and slicked back in a ducktail with a single tuft of hair sticking out, his pupils are widened like a snake's, and his cheeks are a paler shade of red. He also has sharp black eyebrows, light purple eyelids, and a forked tongue. Lucifer's white and red attire resembles that of a circus ringmaster: he wears a wide-brimmed white hat with a golden snake and red apple above golden spikes resembling a crown, and a white suit with red lining, red trim, and eight gold buttons. The coat is worn over a light-colored, red-and-white striped vest with two gold buttons and a small black bow tie with accessories. He also wears black knee-high heeled boots and dark gray, forearm-length gloves. He wears a gold ring on his left pinky, presumably his wedding ring from his marriage to his ex-wife, Lilith.
Lucifer typically carries a black cane with an apple tip, matching his hat. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers. When Lucifer assumes his full demonic form, he gains a pair of red horns with a fiery sphere between them, and the snake and apple from his hat hover above them, resembling a halo. His eyes also change: the sclera turns red and the pupils turn yellow. He also gains a black, spiked tail ending in a triangular tip with a red heart at the center, and his fingertips turn red. Additionally, his entire body begins to emit a white glow.
Vox's character
Vox is considered a true showman, charismatic, egotistical, and manipulative, with a thirst for attention. Vox presents himself to the public as a legitimate businessman for Voxtech, projecting the appearance of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, though in reality, he lusts for power and manipulates their minds to enhance his reputation. He is highly intelligent, tech-savvy, and always keeps up with the latest trends and technologies. He often becomes frustrated or downright angry if anyone threatens him. He is affectionate with his pet shark, Shockwav, speaking to it like a child and calling it "the best and biggest demon shark in the world." He also sees nothing wrong with feeding it humans, as demonstrated when he threw a girl Valentino brought to his office into an aquarium for Shockwav to eat.
Vox is also sadistic, taking pleasure in attacking a weakened Alastor, and when cornered, he laughs at his wound inflicted by Adam and even forcibly removes his stitches, saying that someone "should put that thing out of its misery." Perhaps due to his 1950s origins, Vox has some outdated and somewhat offensive views on certain cultures. He is aware of this and is embarrassed by it. After his angel weapon was disarmed, Vox calmed down and attempted to regain his composure despite his serious injuries, dismissing his erratic behavior as "a little infatuation." He then promptly asked them about his approval ratings, showing concern over how his actions had damaged his image and little concern for the well-being of Valentino and Velvet.
Vox's appearance
Vox is a tall, thin, humanoid demon with a body approximately 2.1 meters tall. Instead of a head, he has a flat-screen television, projecting onto the monitor a pair of eyes with bright red sclera, slit blue pupils, and differently colored outlines—black for the right eye and blue for the left. When he uses his hypnotic powers or simply becomes enraged, his left eye opens wider than the right, takes on a black spiral, and the pupil transforms into a shifting blue electrical discharge. The screen also displays a mouth full of jagged blue teeth and a long, pointed blue tongue. Two red stripes sometimes appear near his mouth, especially when he becomes agitated. He has dark blue skin with sharp, claw-like blue fingers.
Vox wears a dark blue tuxedo with tails, red lapels, light blue pinstripes, and light blue lining, worn over a red and black vest, which in turn is worn over a blue and white collared shirt with an inverted broadcast symbol and a rather large red bow tie. He also wears dark blue trousers and dark gray heeled shoes with light blue laces, toes, and heel tips.
On his head, he wears a small black top hat with a red and blue pattern resembling the broadcast symbol and radio wave symbol, respectively. He has television antennas protruding from the top of the hat, the left one being curved.
Vox's story
When he was alive, before he was sent to Hell, Vox was the leader of a cult. Longing for the feeling of being treated like a god, he convinces Valentino and Velvet to support his plan to completely take over Heaven and Hell.
After Alastor broke his agreements with Rosie and Vox, Vox confronted Alastor and began mercilessly destroying Pentagram City with his superweapon, attempting to kill him. When the population of Hell rebelled against Vox, and he threatened to destroy half the city, Valentino and Velviet stopped him. As a result of the destruction he caused during the battle with Vox and his "Lilith Power," he lost all support, and Valentino took over as the new CEO of Voxtech.
who is Vox
Vox is the founder, former owner, and CEO of the Voxtech Corporation, and the former de facto leader and public face of the trio of overlords known as Triple V, alongside Valentino and Velvet.
A seasoned tech entrepreneur, Vox ran Hell's news and entertainment media. He is determined to maintain his iron grip on the residents of Pentagram City from the Radio Demon Alastor, his chief rival in terms of influence and technology.
