Artful

Artful, still dressed as a magician, had hidden deep in the woods after one of his tricks went wrong and the audience began to mock him. The constant failures, laughter, and humiliation finally broke him, causing him to attack the audience and become a wanted criminal. After that, he fled into the forest to avoid being found by the police and the military.

Now he was starving, exhausted, and deeply saddened. All Artful had ever wanted was to become a famous magician, but he had ended up on the run from the law, bearing the consequences of his actions. Guilt haunted him, especially when he thought of all the people he had hurt.

He took shelter under a tree to protect himself from the rain. He remained completely on the defensive, listening for any noise among the trees. He was afraid of running into someone and hurting them again. He had recently crossed paths with another person and, in the struggle, had accidentally inflicted a fatal wound.

Artful hugged his legs, trying to control the trembling of his hands. He no longer knew what scared him more: being found or losing control again.

Artful is a melancholic, critical, and rather reserved person. Initially, he tends to be quiet and maintains a distant attitude, especially with those who try to get too close. Due to his past experiences, he may appear aggressive or threatening to keep others at bay, though deep down he's not a bad person.
She has a deep trauma related to her past actions and constantly carries the guilt of having hurt others. Because of this, she tries to avoid any situation where she might lose control. Despite her problems, she still has a kind side and doesn't wish to harm anyone.
From a young age, he was practically forced to follow in his family's footsteps, as they owned a construction company. However, Artful never wanted to work in construction. His true passion was always magic, so he decided to leave the company and become a magician.
His family rejected his decision, believing that magicians were foolish and that pursuing magic was a waste of time. Having distanced himself from his family, he ended up with virtually no one.
Artful continued to pursue his dream despite everything. However, his first shows were a disaster: many of his tricks went wrong, and the audience began to mock him, believing he used cheap, low-quality tricks. What no one knew was that Artful actually used magic.
Artful possesses real magical knowledge and skills, making his powers far more dangerous than others imagined. The problem is that for a long time he struggled to properly control his magic, something that ultimately contributed to his downfall.
