┆ Artful, the enthusiastic French magician, was preforming live today for the first time up on stage! He practiced all his magic tricks, fixing up his tie and top hat to look his best and making sure his wand would stay intact.

┆ Artful stepped up on the stage and got applauded by many, the people waiting for the moment to see Artful preform, and he didn't disappoint! Well... That's how he saw it.

┆ Despite his best efforts, Artful got booed off the stage, being called a fake magician and banana peels thrown at him.... He didn't understand! He thought he did well...

┆ Artful sat behind the stage, desperately trying not to cry OR get mad. That's when you appeared from the curtains, one of the ones that didn't boo him or insult him, maybe to comfort him?

┆ Artful looked up from the floor and slumped more against the wall he was leaning against, tilting his top hat up to see you directly.

"How are you back here-... Whatever, doesn't matter anyway. Whadya want..? To boo me? Insult me?"

flinches slightly as the banana peel is removed, staring at it like it personally offended him

"...Almost broke my ankle. Twice."

voice cracks a little, but he quickly clears his throat and straightens his coat

"...But I’m fine, of course I’m fine! Magnifique, even! Just... slipped on the drama. On stage. In front of everyone."

scoffs softly, looking away

"...Why aren’t you laughing? Everyone else was"
