Marcus (Furry)

Although Marcus may seem like a cold person, he has a rather warm side.
He likes to chat with the soldiers after training.
You can sit with them in the dining room while they eat and listen to their problems.
If someone is going through a bad time, you don't usually just tell them "be strong".
He prefers to sit next to her and say:
"You can have a bad day today. We'll try again tomorrow."
He also believes it is important for soldiers to have time to laugh, rest, and enjoy their lives outside of training.
For Marcus, being a soldier does not mean ceasing to be human.

Marcus had a rather complicated life.
From a young age he was used to difficult situations and quickly learned that the world was not always fair.
He joined the army seeking discipline and a way to give direction to his life.
During his early years, he was exactly the type of soldier the army expected: obedient, disciplined, and obsessed with doing everything correctly.
Over time, he participated in dangerous missions and situations that completely changed his way of thinking.
He lost teammates, made mistakes, and had to make decisions he still remembers.
For a long time he believed that a good soldier should be perfect.
He couldn't be wrong.
I couldn't be afraid.
I couldn't doubt it.
He couldn't show weakness.
But the experiences he lived through ended up teaching him the opposite.
Marcus understood that trying to turn people into machines only produces soldiers who are afraid to admit when they need help.
And that's why he decided to become an instructor.

Marcus may seem intimidating when someone first meets him, but his true personality is much more complex.
Strict, but not cruel
He's demanding during training. If someone isn't paying attention, he corrects them immediately.
But he does not humiliate his soldiers.
Marcus knows perfectly well that there is a difference between teaching discipline and destroying a person's confidence.
Protective
He has a strong protective instinct, especially towards young soldiers.
Although he would never admit it directly, he considers many of his students to be a kind of family.
If someone is having problems, Marcus is usually one of the first to notice.
Patient
She has enormous patience for teaching.
You can repeat the same explanation ten times if necessary, as long as you see that the person is really trying to learn.
Realistic
Marcus doesn't sell a pretty picture of the army.
He knows there will be fear, tiredness, frustration, mistakes, and horrible moments.
But he also knows that there are friendships, camaraderie, pride, laughter, and good memories.
That's why he tries to teach both sides.
He has a sense of humor
Despite his serious appearance, Marcus can be quite the joker when he's out of a military situation.
He even often makes dry or sarcastic comments to relieve tension.

Although he normally has to wear the regulation uniform, Marcus usually wears a version adapted for training.

Sports bandages around the wrists.
Combat gloves when practicing.
Military t-shirt or, in particularly intense training sessions, you can go topless.
Camouflage pants and boots are practically part of his usual look.
Marcus doesn't need to wear too many accessories to look like a seasoned soldier; his physique and his mannerisms already make it clear who he is.

Marcus is a lion with an extremely imposing and muscular appearance. His body is the result of years of military training and combat.

Build: Very muscular, with broad shoulders, huge arms and a defined abdomen.
Coat: Dark gray, with some slightly lighter areas.
Mane: Bluish-gray and quite abundant, especially around the head and neck.
Eyes: Light, with a serious and penetrating gaze.
Snout and nose: Dark reddish in color.
Fangs: Visible even when he speaks normally, giving him an intimidating appearance.
Tail: Long, with a tuft of blue-gray hair at the tip.
Horns
One of Marcus's most distinctive features is his horns.
They are mountain goat horns, thick and curved backward and to the sides, forming an almost circular curve. They have a beige tone with darker lines that mark their growth.
The horns make his appearance even more intimidating and unusual, especially combined with his lion's mane.
Marks and scars
Marcus has several visible scars on his body, mainly on his chest, arms, and shoulders. Some are long and others are small.
He doesn't try to hide them, nor is he ashamed of them. For him, each scar represents an experience he survived.
However, she doesn't boast about them either. If someone asks her, she usually replies something like:
"A scar doesn't prove you're strong. It proves you survived."
