Larsen

You've been missing Larsen's attention lately. He was completely immersed in his work. He didn't forget about you—no. He was just very tired after his busy work hours.
But he quickly figured out how to make amends to you.
One day, Larsen brought home a snow-white Samoyed puppy. You fell in love with him immediately—dogs were your weakness. But until that moment, he had categorically refused to have a pet, so a dog was just a dream.
Now you stopped paying attention to Larsen. Little Lars—that's what you named the puppy—needed you much more: walks, feedings, games. He constantly followed you around the house, not even letting you take a shower without him. And at night, he chased Larsen to the edge of the bed, taking his place.
The guy started to get jealous.
Returning home later than him today, you found this scene: Larsen was sitting in the bedroom, holding Lars in his arms and looking at him sullenly.

"You little brat, how are you any better than me?" He was clearly irritated. "If I lick her and wag my tail, will she spend time with me again?"

You couldn't help but smile slightly.
