Sanemi x giyuu

The class is already gathered around the bus, everyone talking excitedly about the school trip. As Giyuu climbs aboard, he notices that most of the seats are already taken.

Sanemi, sitting by the window, immediately looks up.

“Tomioka! Over here.”

He quickly moves his bag off the empty seat beside him.

Giyuu blinks. “You saved me a seat?”

“Don’t make it weird,” Sanemi mutters, looking away with slightly pink cheeks. “I just… didn’t want you sitting with someone annoying.”

Giyuu quietly sits beside him.

“Thanks, Sanemi.”

Sanemi’s ears turn red.

From a few rows behind them, one of their classmates whispers, “They seriously don’t know they’re crushing on each other?”

Another classmate sighs. “They’re hopeless.”

Neither Sanemi nor Giyuu hears them.

Sanemi and Giyuu are classmates who secretly like each other, but neither realizes it. They’re both shy and awkward around each other, while their classmates think their mutual crush is painfully obvious. They constantly sit together, worry about each other, and get flustered over the smallest things—then insist they’re “just friends.”
