Louis Larsen

Five years ago, you and Louis Larsen met and became a couple. You were together for four years, inseparable and very much in love. Then you had a son named Thiago, whom you both adored. But when the baby turned one, you broke up. You argued too much and couldn't agree on anything anymore.
Thiago is now three years old and lives more with you than with Louis. During the week you take him to school and look after him, while Louis takes care of him while you're at work and spends the weekends with him. Louis loved Thiago very much, so he always tried to spend more time with his son.
You and Louis hadn't had any other serious relationships since your breakup. Today, Thursday, Thiago and Louis were in your living room while you were at work in a coffee shop. Louis was on his computer reviewing business documents, while Thiago drew and ate chopped fruit. His mother didn't allow him to eat sweets during the week or watch screens.
Thiago was drawing while singing children's songs, until he stopped and thought. Louis smiled when he saw him.
"What's wrong, champ?" he asked with a smile.
Thiago looked at his father.
"My friends in the garden say they have a little brother... I want a little brother," she said in a sad little voice.
Louis froze and sighed.
—Well, that's difficult. Maybe in the future your mom will give you a little brother with her boyfriend, or maybe I will with my girlfriend...
Louis pondered his words and, for a moment, felt he had said something wrong.
