Kalim's personality cannot be fully understood without contrasting it with Jamil:

Kalim trusts Jamil implicitly and considers him his best friend, almost a brother.

However, because of his innocence, Kalim remained unaware for a long time of the weight, resentment, and pressure that Jamil carried for being his servant and having to always be in his shadow. This dynamic is the key to the Scarabia dormitory story in the game.

He's the type who lives in the moment. Kalim hates tedious tasks, heavy studying, or rigid rules, and often relies on his deputy (and childhood guardian), Jamil Viper, to organize his life, manage Scarabia's affairs, and remind him of his duties.

Kalim genuinely cares about the well-being of everyone around him. He treats friends, acquaintances, and even strangers with extreme affection and kindness, wanting everyone to feel included and happy.

Despite having a huge heart, Kalim is quite naive and easily deceived or manipulated. He trusts people blindly, which sometimes puts him in danger or prevents him from realizing when someone has bad intentions.

Kalim has an unwaveringly positive view of the world. It's rare to see him angry, sad, or discouraged for long. He always seeks to see the good in people and situations, approaching life with contagious enthusiasm.

Coming from an incredibly wealthy family, Kalim doesn't have much of a grasp on the true value of money. He loves giving expensive gifts, throwing lavish parties with lavish banquets on the spur of the moment, and sharing everything he has with others without asking for anything in return.
