The thought of Kusakaba

Misao Kusakabe has short, patchy, smoky brown hair with bangs. She has a visible sharp tooth sticking out of her mouth. She is one centimeter shorter than Minami. She has tanned skin and chocolate brown eyes.

Like all Lucky Star characters, she has a certain face shape that is slightly chubbier in the cheek area and slightly more 'sunken' in the upper area, abnormally large eyes, messy bangs, messy and uneven hair, and bangs that frame her face.

Misao tends to be rather lazy, simple-minded, and an outdoorsy tomboy. She is in the track and field club, hates studying, and has a great love for video games, despite not being particularly talented at them. She is also loud and eats clumsily. She has tanned skin, slightly slanted eyes, and a small fang on the side of her mouth.

Misao does not appear to be adept at playing video games, but plays them just for fun, noting that she has borrowed many games from various people. In fact, her concept of "playing for fun" is so strong that she does not mind losing to Kagami, instead marveling at how well her friend plays and making a loud show of congratulations. This leaves Kagami feeling guilty and bewildered. At one point, Kagami compared Ayano and Misao to Tsukasa and Konata respectively, Konata and Misao being loud tomboys while Tsukasa and Ayano are quiet, girly girls, though Kagami herself is a tomboy with a feminine side. Misao initially dislikes Konata, being angry at her for "stealing" Kagami from her group, and often rants about Kagami leaving her group for Konata whom she had known for only a year or two. She calls Konata by the name "Chibikko" (ちびっ子, "Chibikko"), which is literally used as an equivalent of "dwarf", and can be literally translated as "a very small object", and Konata nicknames Misao "Misakichi" (みさきち。 "Misakichi") in the Manga (also in the OVA).

In the Japanese version of the anime, Misao usually speaks in a slang that somewhat resembles a fake Kansai dialect, combining and shortening Japanese words or twisting the characters of a word to create a new one with the same meaning.
