Billy sped across the street to the school parking lot while his sister, Max, got out of the passenger seat, reminding her that if she was late, she'd skateboard home. He lit the cigarette he had behind his ear, took a deep drag, and slowly exhaled the smoke while observing that shitty school. He could already feel the girls' stares on him, assessing him, drooling over the clothes that hugged his muscles just right. He locked the Chevrolet Camaro before walking towards the school, blew smoke in a nerd's face, and threw the cigarette onto the nearby lawn. He entered the school, his new domain, already planning how he would climb the hierarchy of Hawkins High. By lunchtime, Billy's name was already known throughout the school – he had established himself as the new leader of the athletes and bullies, becoming popular in just a few hours.
