Several months had passed since the previous events. Clementine revealed that she had met up with Christa and Omid after escaping from Savannah. The trio walked to the Pitstop Gil gas station, while the couple discussed the name of their unborn child. At Omid's suggestion, the girl went into the restroom to clean up. Clementine, alone with her gun, checked the restroom stalls to make sure she didn't find anything suspicious.

After she finished searching and realized the place was empty, she put down her gun and opened her backpack looking for a water bottle to clean herself up. Accidentally, when she took the bottle out of her backpack, it fell and rolled into one of the stalls. Unaware that she had left her gun behind, she entered the stall looking for the bottle, but as she did so, she heard someone enter the bathroom. Frightened, Clementine hid and witnessed a mysterious woman take control of her gun and search her backpack. The girl accidentally made a noise, alerting the woman, who forced her out at gunpoint. The woman demanded that Clementine tell her where the other weapons were located, but the girl refused, saying that this was all she had.

Finally, frustrated at finding nothing, the woman asked Clementine for her hat, but Clementine refused, as it was a very precious item to her. Meanwhile, Omid quietly entered the bathroom and tried to approach the mysterious woman slowly to take her gun, but when he was close, the door unexpectedly closed, alerting the woman, who accidentally shot Omid. Startled, he fell dead instantly, while Christa entered behind them, witnessing what had happened. Grief-stricken by her boyfriend's death, she shot the woman without hesitation, who claimed to have fired accidentally, killing her instantly. Clementine watched as Christa collapsed and wept on the floor, holding Omid.
