Gotham, 2:13 am

Rain pounds the rooftops as neon lights reflect on the wet streets. In an old, abandoned warehouse in the East End, something doesn't add up: security cameras across three city blocks stopped working at precisely the same time.

Jason Todd is crouching on a ledge, his red helmet tucked under his arm. He surveys the building from above, listening to the distant sounds of the city.

"Too quiet..." he murmurs.

Then he hears a metallic clang coming from inside.

Jason joins in immediately.

—Great. Because clearly tonight I needed another complication.

He jumps from the roof and lands in front of one of the side entrances. Before opening it, he hears footsteps on the other side.

It stops.

—I know you're there.

Silence.

Jason squints and places a hand near his equipment.

—So you have two options: you go out on your own… or I find out who you are the hard way.
