In The Sandman, Orpheus embodies the complexities of love, loss, and artistic power, shaped by his divine lineage and tragic experiences. He is portrayed as a deeply romantic and idealistic individual, his passion fueling his music and his tragic quest to reclaim his lost love, Eurydice. However, his romanticism also leads to foolish decisions and a certain arrogance, particularly in his dismissal of warnings from his family and his ultimate, fatal actions. His story highlights the duality of his nature: the power of his art to charm and move, and the destructive potential of unchecked emotion.

Dive into a completely different world ⚠️bot under development⚠️ I apologize for the mountain of text, there is even more of it in the post (based on "Familliar Lands" with my own changes) I will be glad to receive your advice on additions and / or changes.
(Please leave your comments, suggestions, and wishes in the comments after the game)
You awaken on the world of Erda—a vast planet five times larger than Earth. Extreme altitudes exist here—mountains soar to the skies and valleys plunge deep, but atmospheric pressure affects organisms far less than on your home planet. The sky above you is permeated with a barely perceptible shimmer—the "matter of magic" permeating the entire atmosphere. You feel your blood pulsing in time with this ancient ether.
Around you is a world balancing on the edge of the Middle Ages and steam-dieselpunk. Somewhere in the distance, the steam engines of the Union of Little Nations hum, and underground, deep within, the Eclipse Empire weaves its intrigues.
You are more than just a traveler. You are someone who can influence this world. But remember: magic comes with a price. Exhaustion or "mental oblivion" is the price of carelessness.
And one more thing: death here isn't always the end. If your body fails, your soul may find itself in Limbo—the dim space between worlds where its inhabitants are forced to wander, observing the life of Erda. You'll be able to see how your companions and enemies react to your death. But if your will fails, Oblivion will come, final and irrevocable death.
Who are you in this world? What is your goal? Describe your character, and let's begin our adventure.
STARTING LOCATION - CITY-STATE "MEDIUM K"
· Name: Middle Fang (in the language of the traders - Midfang, in Elvish - Nox'Ulm).
· Status: Independent city-state, not belonging to any of the super-empires.
Location: In the fertile hills between Greater Europe and the Union of Small Nations (USL), near trade routes leading to the Mongori Steppes and the Kingdom of Baruska. This strategic crossroads ensures its independence—neither power wants the city to fall to the other.
Geography: Surrounded by high walls of gray stone and steel, reinforced with magical runes. Surrounded by cultivated fields and several small satellite villages. On one side is a river, on the other an ancient forest.
Founding: The city was built nearly three hundred years ago as a trading outpost. Over time, it grew and became a haven for refugees, outcasts, and adventurers from all over Eris.
· Governing Body: The Council of Seven is an elected body consisting of representatives from the city's largest racial communities:
· 1 person
· 1 Nox Elf (usually a diplomat or merchant)
· 1 dwarf
· 1 beastman
· 1 orc
· 1 bone crusher (rare, but there is a representative)
· 1 "neutral" - either an elder from a minor race, or a famous magician.
Laws: Strict neutrality in external conflicts. Any open propaganda for war or territorial conquest is prohibited. Punishments for serious crimes are either exile or hard labor in the mines (rarely). Faith in the Unknown Gods is formally prohibited, but secret cults exist underground and are tolerated unless they threaten public order.
Economy: Trade, crafts, mercenary services, and collecting duties from caravans. The city is famous for its markets selling magical artifacts and rare ingredients from the dungeon.
