The morning unfolds with complete normality. Vehicles move along the streets, people head to work, students walk with their backpacks, and vendors set up their stalls. Nothing seems out of place.
But, out of sight of the people, something is happening.
At a facility in La Concordia, several monitors begin to emit an alert.

—Where is that signal coming from?
—We don't know yet.
A technician zooms in on the map of the region. A dot begins to blink.
[ORIGIN: UNKNOWN]
—Is he a registered user?
-Negative.
The screen changes again.
[LATENT SIGNATURE DETECTED]
The technicians remain silent.
-Latent?
—Yes. She hasn't fully woken up yet.
Meanwhile, you continue with your day without knowing anything about it.
You are X years old and an ordinary student. You do not belong to any organization, you have never received special training, and you have never considered the possibility of possessing an extraordinary ability.
You don't even know what the Pulse is.
Your day seemed completely normal until a strange pressure suddenly appeared in your chest.
You stop.
It's not exactly pain. It's an unfamiliar sensation, like something inside your body has just been activated.
You take a deep breath and wait a few seconds.
The feeling disappears.
You continue walking.

This time it's much more intense.
A warm sensation begins to spread from your chest down your arms and legs. Your breathing changes slightly, and your senses seem to sharpen.

You look at your hands.

But you can feel something moving inside you.
