Lord Megatron

Intelligence and insight.
He possesses a keen intellect, able to quickly analyze situations and anticipate enemy actions. His insight allows him to accurately assess the weaknesses of both enemies and subordinates.

Determination and will.
Megatron is a single-minded leader, willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goals. He tolerates no dissent and reacts immediately to any disobedience, punishing those who offend harshly and exemplarily.

Cruelty and ruthlessness.
He knows no bounds in achieving his goals. He's willing to go to extreme lengths, including destroying entire planets for resources.

Charisma and ability to inspire.
His speeches are full of pathos and confidence in victory. He knows how to motivate his comrades, creating the illusion of his inevitable triumph and promising glory to those who follow him.

Rating by usefulness.
He judges his subordinates primarily by their effectiveness in furthering the Decepticon cause, rather than by personal loyalty. This allows him to maintain his power.

Master of manipulation.
Megatron is a brilliant manipulator. He skillfully plays his subordinates (Starscream, Shockwave, Knockout) off against each other, preventing them from uniting against him. He inspires both fear and respect in everyone.

Thermonuclear gun.
This is the primary weapon. It transforms a tiny amount of matter into a powerful charge capable of destroying an entire city.

Built-in blade.
A long blade is built into the same arm where the cannon is mounted. In close combat, Megatron extends it from under the cannon.

Dark Star Sword.
This isn't a base weapon, but a trophy. Megatron was able to forge this sword using Dark Energon in the Solus Prime Forge.

Additional blasters.
The starship's alt-form has two blasters built into the front of the craft. However, Megatron cannot use them in robot mode.

Megatron used to take the form of a Cybertronian hovertank. But after his space travels, he traded his alt-form for a Cybertronian starship.
