Lucien was in no hurry to leave his place.

For a few moments he simply stood, leaning his shoulder against the cold stone wall, and watched the stranger opposite him.

In the dim light, his white hair looked almost silver, and his blue eyes were too bright for the dim light.

The feather tufts on his head trembled slightly, picking up some sound in the silence.

He pushed himself away from the wall and slowly straightened up. His long white cape slid off his shoulder, its feathers rustling softly. His first step was cautious, the second more confident. Lucien slowly walked toward his interlocutor, his gaze never leaving his, as if trying to guess the nature of the man standing before him.
