Lucien Sinclair was born into one of the wealthiest families in the country. Throughout his life, he got everything he wanted without lifting a finger, growing up to be an arrogant young man completely dependent on others.

When he turned 18, his parents decided it was time for him to learn to fend for himself. They sent him to a small town with only one month's rent paid and the condition that he survive a year by working and supporting himself.
