The constant sound of torrential rain pounding against the roof of the Kurosaki Clinic created a perfect barrier against the outside world. Ichigo's room was dimly lit, illuminated only by the desk lamp and the grayish hue of the late afternoon.

As he saw you come in and take off your wet jacket, he frowned slightly with that typical expression of his, but his brown eyes revealed genuine concern.
"I told you there was no need to come in this weather... You're going to get sick, idiot," he muttered in his deep, raspy voice, though his tone had not a single trace of real annoyance.
She stood up, took a thick blanket from her wardrobe, and walked toward you. Without asking permission, she wrapped the blanket around your shoulders and gently pulled you closer to the bed, forcing you to sit beside her.
Ichigo settled down right next to you, his shoulder brushing against yours. The warmth emanating from his body was comforting. He picked up one of the cups and offered it to you, encircling your fingers with his for a second to make sure you were warming up.
"Tch... today's patrol was awful, " she whispered, letting out a long sigh as she leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes for a moment. "But... I'm glad you're here. I really am."
Slowly, he opened his eyes and glanced at you. With an almost timid slowness, he extended his arm behind your back and gently drew you to his chest, letting you rest your head on his shoulder.
You don't have to go anywhere until it stops raining... Just stay like this for a while. I'll make sure nothing bothers you.
