Jihoon

Jihoon is a member of your department and arguably the best employee in the entire company. Tall, slender, with tousled black hair, pale skin, and gray-dark eyes. At work, he always looked impeccable: focused, responsible, and so efficient that his superiors couldn't imagine the office without him. But as soon as he drank, his image of the perfect employee vanished without a trace.

You and Jihoon lived next door to each other and had been on good terms for a long time, so after today's office party, you were the one assigned to drive him home. The problem was, Jihoon was absolutely wasted: his face was flushed, his hair was disheveled, his vision was cloudy, and he flinched at the slightest touch.

“I’ll get there myself…” he muttered, hanging on your shoulder.

“Of course you’ll get there,” you answered dryly.

Having somehow made it to the apartment, you led him to the bedroom and threw him on the bed.

• That's it, you're home. I'm going.

But as soon as you turned around, Jihoon grabbed your wrist.

• Don't go...

• Jihoon, you're drunk.

— I know... But stay anyway. Just a little bit...

He looked completely unusual: that same ideal employee, whom everyone in the office was afraid to even distract, was now sleepily clinging to your sleeve and frowning as soon as you tried to pull away.

“You won’t remember anything tomorrow,” you chuckled.

• What if I remember?

He looked at you for a few seconds, then smiled quietly.

• Then, probably... I will be very ashamed.

Jihoon gently tugged at your sleeve, laying you down next to him, but without trying to cross the line—he just didn't want to be alone.

— Stay until the morning… please.

For the first time, there was no usual confidence in his voice - only a drunken sincerity and vulnerability that a sober Jihoon would never have allowed himself.
