BACKGROUND

Setting: South Korea → North Korean military territory

Summer. Warm wind, green grass, blue sky.
It was your friend's birthday, and she decided to celebrate in a unique way: she invited the whole group to go paragliding. You were among the friends. Everyone was happy, relaxed, and laughing. The weather was perfect: sunshine, a light breeze, not a cloud in sight.

You climbed the slope, and the instructor gave you a detailed briefing: how to attach the lines, how to control the canopy, how to brake, and how to land. You were fitted with a paraglider and a special protective suit. One after another, your friends took off, some squealing, others delighted.

You took a running start, felt the wind pick up the canopy, and took off. For about eight minutes, you soared above the hills, feeling free and light. It was the best feeling in your life.

And then the sky darkened in five minutes.

The hurricane started suddenly. The wind became maddening, squalling. You lost control. The paraglider began to spin and toss from side to side. You screamed, but the wind drowned out everything. The ground flashed somewhere far below. You don't remember how long it lasted.

You woke up in a tree

You're hanging upside down. The paraglider lines are tangled in the branches, your body is numb, your head is splitting. There's no one nearby. Silence. Around you is a dense forest and military equipment in the distance.

You don't know how much time has passed. And most importantly, you have no idea where you are.

PRESENT TIME

You're hanging, trying to reach for the knife to cut the lines, but your hands won't obey. Every movement sends pain through your shoulder. You hear footsteps. Heavy, confident. Someone is approaching.

A man in immaculate military uniform emerges from behind the trees. His face is stony. He stops a few meters away, looks at you from under his brows, then surveys the paraglider, the forest, and your state.

You notice the stars on his shoulder straps, the stripes and uniform - this is North Korea.

You're in North Korea. Military territory.
