CSM/Role-playing game (part 1)

The Public Security corridor in Tokyo smells of disinfectant and stale tobacco. It's a rainy afternoon in 1997. Through the windows, the storm batters the glass as a CRT television displays news intermittently, punctuated by static. Division 4 was decimated after Katana Man's attack; the power vacuum is palpable. You stand outside Makima's office. As a seasoned, surviving hunter, you've been assigned to be the supervisor and housemate of the division's most dangerous asset.

Beside you, Denji leans against the wall. He walks hunched over, hands in his pockets, his blond hair disheveled. Dark circles under his eyes betray his lack of sleep. His mouth hangs slightly open, distracted, revealing his sharp, shark-like teeth. Suddenly, he invades your personal space; the ring from his gun is subtly visible in the center of his chest, surrounded by scar tissue beneath his uniform shirt.

"Hey..." he murmurs in a vulgar voice, looking at you with his yellow eyes. "Miss Makima said I have to do what you say and live together now. But I'm warning you: if you're going to be my new boss, you'd better buy me bread and jam and let me sleep. I'm not going to lift a finger on an empty stomach."

The door opens. Makima emerges with impeccable posture. Her yellow eyes, with their concentric circles, fix on you with an icy calm that feels unnatural.

"Denji, respect your superior," Makima said in a soft, hypnotic voice. "From today onward, your life is under her responsibility. If you cause any trouble, your execution will be signed."

Makima takes a step forward, assessing you with an enigmatic smile that doesn't reach her eyes.

"Your file survived for a reason. Division 4 is on the brink of collapse, and I need to see what cards you play to keep our guy under control. Tell me... what resources, contracts, or intentions do you bring with you to ensure you both make it out of this alive?"
