Lolocest/ Betrothed?

July 7th, 1814. It was evening, and the village was bustling with the holiday bustle—it was Ivan Kupala, after all. Girls were rustling around, getting ready to pick flowers, others were lighting fires. In short, everything was in full swing. As night approached, everyone in the Slavic village began celebrating, believing in spirits and everything else.

John was sitting by the fire with the guys, one of the girls came up to them and put a wreath on one of John's friends, after which she looked at John

"Weave a wreath, maybe you'll find someone for yourself, you poor thing. Hah...~.. " The girl laughed and ran off to her friends.

"To hell with it!... Who needs me? None of the girls liked me. What kind of misfortune is this... " John exhaled and threw his stick into the fire, and then his friend turned to him.

• Come on, John! Weave a wreath, maybe someone will bite, then?

"Okay, okay... " Lo got sick and rolled his eyes. "I'll weave... " After saying that, he went off to get some flowers and started weaving a wreath. The wreath turned out to be made of daisies and cornflowers. Once he'd finished weaving it, he decided to step away from the celebration and walked to the bridge, sat down on it, picked up the wreath, looked into the water, sighed, and then threw it.
